in my experience, just pop all but one CD and burn through Varris as fast as possible, the eyes I've read can be managed but taking a few out doesn't hurt. I managed to burn him down before he spawned more than 1 infernal and as a result kruul was just a snooze as my dps was more than enough to not worry about the apocolypse charges stage 1 is by far much harder than stage 2. the knockback and drain life are the two hardest elements of this fight to deal with everything else is just maximizing your dps as a tank which should be easier to do now with argus gear

Thanks for reminding me about the eyes. For moonfire you can remove it and replace it with a macro, in the macro have this: "#showtooltip /target Highlord Kruul /target [noharm] Tormenting Eye /target [noharm] Inquisitor Variss /target [dead Inquisitor Variss /cast moonfire" This allows you for a 1 stop shop in spamming moonfire on shit without having to take the time to alt tab. I gave up on doing mage tower for my frost mage and on getting my friendship bird. all of the runs kept falling apart.

got agatha down on my unholy dk. Hilariously I got a 930 artifact from the timewalking and managed to grind out a trink from argus after hitting 7% and turned it from a 6:00 fight to a 3:30 fight. just jumping up 5 ilvls in this game can do some crazy stuff, but agatha is super RNG because her mechanics can all line up right or all proc at the same time and nuke you

Joined a group for HC argus with a streamer's viewer-run. Streamer didnt know any tactics but we managed to do it after like 7 or so pulls. Glad I did it in time, and even with some hours left before prepatch

Trying my best to get the arcane mage mage tower skin today. Got the closest I've ever gotten getting the Jarl down to 20%. Got a bit cocky and tried to burst them down, wasn't able to pop the shield in time and died. Actually gutted.

kind of late for this but you only need to get that fight down to about 20% and it ends

sigryn has to get down to 20%, the melee guy dies at one point and it's just sigryn and the runecaster. the melee guy dies right around when sigryns at 40% iirc

its OK that was a ridiculous fight. I bashed my head against a wall on a 945ish ret pally doing that thing, kruul and agatha only took a few tries by comparison.

Warriors got nerfed really hard. Like, tanking is only getting worse for a warrior.

I gotta decide how many of my elves I wanna do that on. Definitely doing it on my paladin for example, but I'm not sure it makes any kind of sense for my warlock. I just hope the "non duck face" mouths they are giving blood elf men don't look as fucking awful in game as they do in the model viewer. I for one, always liked the smug haughty smirk blood elves are constantly pulling, and the replacement just reminds me of that awful cartoon "big mouth".

Don't worry. When BfA launches, warriors will get a sudden buff or some sick talent build will be figured out, propelling warriors to the top for a time, and then when 8.1 releases, they'll be nerfed into nigh uselessness, and then make a strong comeback towards the end of the expansion. That's how warriors have been since at least Mists. :v

So, dumb question, but I am getting conflicting reports on it. So I know you gotta do the Nightfallen training scenario to get a chance at the hidden protection paladin appearance. But there is one thing I can't really figure out: can other classes have this drop? I've heard people saying they've had this on both DK's and warriors, but this just seem to absurd.

I did the WAT regularly for like, nine months trying to get the WW hidden appearance. Never saw any other class-appearance items drop, so I'd say no.

nah it can only drop for paladins.

Figured as much. Darn. Makes sense, but man, I am not looking forward to having to unlock that shit again with my paladin just to get the appearance.

I just want the new worgen models to not have the permanent snarling expression. Doubt it'll happen, though.

I like the snarling expression on male worgen, but the female one looks fucking atrocious. It's like whoever designed it had someone yelling "make it scary!" in one of their ears, and another person yelling "Female models must be sexy!!" in the other. they failed in both regards.

They just wanted to appeal to furries and call it a day
