Am I a bad person? Selling 6B47 helmets on market for $5000 Dollars, only put 2 up yet made $10k off them.
If people aren't watching what they're buying, it's their fault. So far I've only used the market to trade Beef Stew for Salawa's, but it got Therapist off my back
God damn..
My dirtiest abuse was trading 3000 USD for 3000 RUB~ Some fool had it on flea market for hours and nobody noticed it..
I uh almost got to level 3 and I haven't played a single game yet by going though the market and examining everything. lol
Well then.... $10k Dollars on a rechargeable battery.
First time running full gear, never looked or felt this good!

So yesterday I finally had my Tarkov moment, and it was extremely intense. Me and my two friends were on Customs to kill Scavs, I'd brought a PACA, AVS, and a VEPR because my inventory was full so I might as well start running some light gear because I can't store it. We tried to intervene in a battle at Ice Cream, all 3 opened fire on a poor Scav to which I got the kill, but there was nothing else happening here now, so we went to Construction to hunt more Scavs. There, me and one friend both lost our legs to different Shotgun Scavs, and I killed Sniper Scav; but without legs it was time to go home, so we went on our way to Bunker. That's where the real adventure began.
Around the back of Gas Station along the blue fence, we engaged a USEC, who killed both my teammates; one behind Gas and one on the street behind the pileup. I turn the corner and kill USEC man and start looting what I can, his Scoped OP-SKS, UN Armor, and MBS - I take out his OP-SKS since my VEPR is low on ammo now. I start moving toward my friend's body to secure the 6B body armor they had, but I take fire from the pipe, it's USEC's buddy! This is where I really should have died, both legs out, in the open, taking multiple shots, and I couldn't figure out how to use the freakin' scope at first! Once I figured it out, I put 3 rapid shots on him and he disappeared. So I healed my bleeding in a ditch and snuck my way across the street, crawled under the pipe, and found him dead a few meters away. I began healing and looting, he had 2 OP-SKS rifles, I took one over my VEPR, and used up his painkillers and some water.
Now to get that 6B, I stand up and immediately take fire from the blue wall, I frantically fire back and the shots stop, but now I've decided it's not worth hanging around any longer; I just need to leave. So I start moving down the pipe, initially watching the wall but soon shift to stutter-sprinting until I'm at the wall breach where the pipes go up. I go through and hear Scavs shouting, I could not believe my luck; I've got 2 legs out, half a car kit, half an IFAK, no more painkillers, and there are Scavs in my way. But I have to press forward because I know the player at the Gas Station still has my scent, in fact I'm amazed he didn't give chase.
I enter the breach and open fire on the first Scav to my right, take cover to heal the wounds I sustained during that fight, then stand up and throw a stun grenade at another Scav in the doorway. While he's dazed I sprint across the street and take some damage from my wounds; but after I round the corner he comes out for me and I fire at him, my mag runs dry so I hit the deck behind the pipes and reload fast. What I didn't get a chance to say was this all happened so quick I didn't have a chance to check the mags I found, so I had no idea how much ammunition I had this entire time. I get back up and drop him just in time to notice that a second Scav has appeared to my left, so I take out the other SKS and drop him in a frantic face-to-face fight. Now my arms are shot, my legs are shot, I don't know how much ammo I have remaining, and my painkillers wore off. I use the last of my Car Kit and IFAK and begin limping away toward the road to Bunker. As I round the corner, I hear more gunshots behind me, but I don't want any; I limp down the street, enter bunker and escape.

Helmets are incredibly powerful, most likely due to a bug, right now. They have a 100% ricochet chance, so even firing SNB 7.62x54r will take 7 shots to kill against the green level 3 bucket helm. Oh, and blacked limb damage doesn't do massive amounts of damage spread all over your body, only like 66% of default bullet damage now.
MY GOOD SIR, happen to have any source material to back up this claim?
I believe most of my kills this wipe have been clean face-shots if the guy was even half-geared so you may be on to something. . .

This explains so much shit this patch, battle state, the fucking hell?
Well that kinda kills the mood a bit, I have to admit.
Helmets being bugged and scalpers literally buying everything they can from traders and reselling it on the flea market at a higher price has my enthusiasm to play this patch at an all time low.
When I can't even buy a fucking ToZ because people bought hundreds of them to put up on the flea market for stupid prices, I'd rather just play anything else, which I hate because this patch has been fun for me and I love the game to death.
TBH I'm sick of wipes. I dont care if they nuke all your inventory, just let me keep my trader leves/rep and keys and sure, I'll be golden. But I don't find joy in grinding the same shit over and over again like some other people love. I just want to enjoy the unique gameplay of this game without worrying about grinding it all out.
Besides that Scav accuracy got insane, stupidly so I don't know why no one asked for it and the flea market, while it is useful, I hate using it because it doesn't put anything towards leveling the traders up, that and people just buying up all the cheap and selling at set price.
Doing the quests for like the 20th time is fucking asinine, if people want to do them every wipe, more power to them, just reset their own profiles. If the game ever actually finally "releases" releases then sure, make me do the quests again, but with a game still in an alpha build disguised as a beta, making us do them all over again every wipe doesn't make any fucking sense.
Maybe it the quests were actually fun, I wouldn't mind doing them every wipe, something like defending an area for 10 minutes against continually spawning scavs or some shit instead of "go here, press F, wait 30 seconds, do it again in two other spots"
it makes sense to hard reset with the introduction of the flea, but yea i agree..
I don't mind it too bad this time because I've never seen past the first few task lines...
On a side note they still need to fix bloody hatchlings. The flea market I feel just made the plague worse. Just give a 10-15 min late spawn if you dont have a pistol or rifle equipped or somn jeez.
the servers are down phat rip

I've bitched about it before I'll bitch about it again, fix the fucking penetration issues.
On a side note I swear scavs cook their grenades, almost always I've barely if ever had time to just run when I hear that grenade clink right next to me, is it just me?
Scavs do indeed cook their grenades, its why stuff like the video above happens.
You kill them at the right time when they start to cook it and they just spontaneously explode.
That is abso-fucking-lutely retarded. You don't cook IRL that shit's dangerous as fuck, grenades don't explode exactly at a certain time. Usually between 3 and 4 seconds. And we as players can't cook can we? At least I haven't figured out how.
I believe it's possible to cook grenades in EFT. I think you have to drag them on to your hotbar to be able to equip them in one hand then you click and hold for however long you want.
Who's online and wants to run some duos with a drunk dipshit?
That's not cooking though because the character still holds the spoon in place. If only there was an option to properly cook nades we would've seen dozens of jihadist hatchlings.
