YO you need at LEAST something that goes bang to stand a chance.. I've only run a few raids, but the scavs[""ex-usec/bear""] run with a rather fat amount of gear on average.. From new armor sets to gen 4's with 60 round mags of PS.

Just got lucky with a body or two full of loot and then leave with it or use it to kill more scavs.

strat for labs: get a cheapo shotty and stuff 50 buckshots into ur pocket run to hangar extract open it you have now triggered tarkovs version of the navy seal copypasta leg meta the fuck out of the raiders loot them ez money

attempting that usually ends in failure and instant death the moment they see you i've been dicking around in sp so i haven't actually lost a fort but seriously what the fuck

after grinding more i have about 5 60 round mags with the new 7N39 ammo in it, it literally 2 hits lab scavs in the head even with a ZSH on

Bring a garbage gun and a garbage bag this is the best way of scoring some fast loot. You could bring in some low/mid tier armor but you'll end up dropping it 100% of the time if you survive a fight because these raider bastards are stacked...

thats why i just run naked with meds in the container n a shotgun and ammo in pockets that i will drop 100% tho having over 500 rounds of 7N39 now i just run a 60 round on a kitted out ak74n i just spawn in with that ak, then sling a 104 from the scavs on my back and take all their pmags and 7n39 ammo, good thing they spawn with huge bps often times so its easy to extract with like 3 gen4s

So does anyone else have an issue where they try to do things fast the controls just lock up? Pretty sure I complained about this a year ago. Like pushing caps lock to max out speed when you're sneaking and pushing sprint and it just refuses to sprint OR make your movement faster, gotten me killed a few times.

Do you have that issue in any other game? I used to have an old keyboard and it couldn't handle more than 2 inputs at a time or multiple inputs in rapid succession. It was meant for office work, so back then gaming keyboards were actually special because you could press as many buttons as you wanted. I don't know if there's still a distinction since I haven't used any cheap keyboards since then.

Tt is an old keyboard that doesnt like more than 3 keys being pressed but it isnt that, just decided to fuck around and test it in offline and it seems that if you push C to stand up from a crouch and then immediately push shift to sprint, it will crouch you again. It's a habit I learned from older games I think where you cant sprint from crouch so muscle memory, still kinda dumb.

Yeah the movement in Tarkov can be pretty janky, even more than Creation Engine games. I've died in several encounters because I can't get the movement I'm trying at.

Managed to finally get a free beta code for this game, only lasts two weeks though. Anyone have any good videos to watch as a beginner? I kinda just jumped in, and while I'm having fun I'm getting blown up constantly.

I would recommend playing scav often and with a map in hand learn the extracts and where the valuable loot is. Stock up a few shotguns and then hit the new lab for a bounty of pristine loot !

The funniest part about all that is the fact they assume, after running around really fucking loudly without a care, that he was just camping there the whole time. Speaking of those dumbasses, is it me or is Labs kinda boring when it comes to PMC's because literally no one brings good gear. So it's either hatchlings with a pistol or a shotgun or john wick levels of Raiders that'll tap you if you're not gaming it properly.

Eh... I've ran across my fair share of terminators wielding pocket miniguns.. I usually do labs with a decent rifle & have yet to become bored of stomping the guts out of those naked pistoleers~

Fair enough, I'm starting to suspect it's jut my location and the low population, I usually come across more scav players than PMC's in most games.
