Escape from Tarkov V2 - Rootin' tootin' leg shootin'

Of course I decide to spring on the game after a long 14 hour day at work, wait patiently for it to download, and then the servers are absolutely fucking down. Lol GG me I guess.
Welcome to Tarkov.
So what kind of loot items are actually worth taking to sell? As it stands I literally have never found a weapon anywhere other than on a scav body lmao (and the only player-characters I seem able to kill are people who just spawn in with either a pistol or a knife, I've had geared people literally just walk past and ignore me shooting at them because it seems to be doing barely any damage to them)
if it's for FM, any bunch of stuff. Roler, Defib, Recharging battery, really just pick random 1x1 items and check them against the flea market. Opthalmoscopes go for a lot of money. (found on labs, mostly).
Trades
Trade list yo
Almost everything is worth collecting. With the flea market you could sell items needed for quests. Traders also have some bartering trades such as trading two hard drives for a 60-round Ak mag.
can you lose loyalty level with a trader?
only by not handing in specific quests to specific traders, and not always, honestly by the time you get to chemical p4 you should be royalty with most traders so if u just hand it in to skier u wont even loose much loyalty with the other traders (i didnt atleast and i stayed royalty with prap and therapist lol)
you really have to screw up to end up losing a loyalty level. the number of quests in the game right now means that its only a temporary problem anyways
Be advised we're well into the wipe!! You must play like a rat in the field or the mega armoured eagles will scoop you up for a snack.
Practice gunfighting with your scavs and try to glean a little bit of loot out of labs and you'll be kicking ass in no time~
I had a really good couple of sessions, but I had a few that really confused me. I had a match on labs where I went in with just a knife, hid and snuck about and managed to snag a gun off a corpse. I was going to just call it quits there and run because I have really just about no gear so any gear is a bonus to me. But I had the chance to take a guy out on the way, maybe could have snuck past him, idk. So I shot him in the back, landed every shot I took, should have downed him but nah, he turns around and just takes me down in like 2-3 shots, stats screen confirmed everything. I did 543 damage to this one guy, only 20 of it was deflected by armour.
That happened twice and honestly those were the only two times I was honestly kinda upset about being fucked over. The other time I spawned into factory and instantly started taking damage and died with no one around me. I lost all my starter gear already, which is fine tbh. I managed to snag an mp-443 from a guy and I've had a steady enough stream of baubles to keep me semi-equipped. My big issue is I just don't know where the extractions are and the AI seems to be laser locked fucking killers or entirely brain dead with no middle ground.
Just had an update but I can't really find any patch notes or anything anywhere.
I've started not playing labs for a bit and doing some of the quests I've ignored. Currently chasing after PMC kills on factory. I've got so much money, I could go in with a lot of ridiculous stuff but somehow it's still far more fun/satisfying to run around with a shotgun and blast some fuckers.
Even managed to drop a geared guy with a nade and a leg shot, took his M2/Altyn/Attack2 and Gen4 armour and stashed it away.
had a crazy day in tarkov yesterday, i dropped a lvl2 usec who thought it was a good idea to go in with just the new year gift M1A in a later raid my friend picked up the lab key thats worth 30-50 mil off someone he killed but didnt put it in his gamma
launcher update, they also did a server update, nothing for the client
What's the safest map to play on generally? I'd thought playing on some of the bigger maps at night time would be alright but everyone seems to have NVG's and totally fuck me up.
woods is widely regarded to be safe, logging camp is pretty much the only hotspot, maybe scav house too
i think shoreline is better, the action is too concentrated on woods.
same with shoreline, all the action is at resort, same with woods
Both shoreline and woods have some of the most sought after keys in the game....I find woods to be somewhat safe but the chance of running into terminator groups are high.
huh, i barely run into any geared groups, many ppl just take a mosin or pistols into key raids, which saddens me cuz i enjoy fighting 2 or 3 mans as a lightly geared player
They usually hightail it to said keys position. Its also a matter of beating other terminators or hatchlings there. So sometimes they wont even shoot at you if you're not in their way.
What does everyone run for fast cash? I've had some luck running shoreline, bit of factory occasionally works out good for me so far. Just struggle to maintain about 100k rubles across the runs I think I come close to breaking even.
Labs. hop on the discord, we play together usually
hatchling runs on labs. Accept no substitute.
MPX/MP5 labs face blasting is pretty good
I'd say community slowly getting friendlier, I guess people are getting tired of watchign their back all the time. Hatchlings team like never before.
Finally got the spreadsheet done for all the data, take a look if you want to see amounts for loot of Labs level 2.
I'll be improving the document's readability once I bother to learn how to properly make it better.
(If anyone has any suggestions on how to do so, please for the love of god tell me how)
Labs Level 2 Raid Loot Table
Don't you lose everything if you disconnect? Or is that just for your testing purposes?
I used a gamma with a meds case inside, and a split to pick up grizzlies.
