Ridley is going to be sold out before they even put up the pre-order button.
I mean, there are more than two returning veterans that still need to get an amiibo.
Although I can understand not making new versions of every character and limiting it to the few that never got an Amiibo, I hope that they end up making them for the characters with redesigns like most of the Zelda characters, the Miis, and the different Mr. Game and Watch poses.
I'm hoping for updated Zelda and Dorf to go with Link and Y.Link.
I'd jump on them real fast!
Is wolf available for preorder yet? he looks fantastic
I tried to give myself a "one amiibo per character" rule (with the exception of special cases like 8-bit Mario and Yarn Yoshi), but new amiibo of Zelda/Ganondorf would probably make me go back on that. Also I should try to find Overalls Wario's amiibo at some point, since I'm kind of sick of Biker Wario and his amiibo's two-dimensional chin.

Snake amiibo is all I want.
Snake amiibo better not be a store-exclusive.
Exclusive to Toys R Us.
They almost always are store-exclusive, I hate it.
I was barely lucky enough to get Shulk, no way in hell will I manage to get another store exclusive.
Wow, so many differences I never noticed.
They literally just added a normalmap to Duck Hunt
He looks better without it
Is it me or does the smooth textures and the lighting in the Wii U version bring out the flaws in the model a lot more?
The other model had a normal map too. This one is just different.
Personally I don't think the increased detail really fits him. I think that's what Skerious meant too.
Smash Ultimate's lighting is something I've wanted Smash to attempt but it's gonna need some time to get perfected. Smash lighting has always felt flat and boring but it worked in their favor by keeping everything looking generally okay everywhere. Smash Ultimate on the other hand is definitely an improvement in a lot of areas but has spots that look off. Bowser in general doesn't look like the lighting change did him any favors, and certain areas make characters like Pikachu and Jiggs look too washed out. Hopefully they get it right at launch.
If they're going to desaturate the game and amp up the highlights and shadows on characters, I really hope they're going to keep the option from Smash4 3DS to add character outlines
I like to think my eyesight is alright, considering I haven't had any permanent vision problems my whole life, but watching some preview matches of Ultimate on a small tablet... It's kinda hard to follow sometimes. I worry for how the experience will be on the Switch itself in handheld mode, considering it's not an OLED like said tablet, and the contrast will be even lower as a result.
considering you will be able to play smash on the go with the switch, i imagine there will be a way to turn on the outlines
