I wouldn't be that salty about japanese exclusives if anywhere else got any other type of exclusive content.
New leaf had japanese exclusive furniture but it's easy as piss to just add it into your game if you want.
Event exclusive content is cool as shit, shows you were there and how long you've been playing. But the worldwide stuff like the spring collection and new years/Halloween stuff is purchasable on the splatnet store and from other players in your lobby.
I just bought the Japanese art book. I hope this one has Octo Expansion content in it.

I have had absolutely zero luck with splatfests. I've only been around for 3 and I've picked the losing team every time
Not to mention I maxed out my splatfest rank after nearly 2 hours of straight back to back losses. like seriously jesus fucking christ i won like 5 matches that entire time

The Rolonium in this Shifty Station was a neat concept, it kind of turned the map into siege warfare instead. This is one I'd gladly welcome back.
This shifty station was so much better than the last one for Hare vs Tortoise
god that fucking map was the most infuriating shit, if you didn't rush the center and ink as much of the moving panel as possible you're completely fucked
