Won almost every game until I hit squid queen, most games were stomps too. I think skill levels are not very even this splatfest.

I'm on team Octo and have had the opposite experience. I've been topping my team's score board yet 7/8 times it ends up with us losing with a complete blowout. Definitely hasn't been fun.

It might be the popularity curse. I wonder if lots of players who don't own the Octo Expansion chose Team Octo in order to play as an Octoling? I've noticed a large 'power' disparity between Squid and Octo players. I'm on Team Squid in EU, and I haven't encountered a single mirror match yet. Has anyone else having non-stop mirror matches or is it a mixed bag?

I played to queen on squid, and octo on my bf's account. Took 3 times as long on octo, lots of mirror match ups. Is it just me or does team squid disconnect a lot? I mean hey, free octo wins for me, but it's really weird how so many matches have been a 4v3 for me. I think there's only been 1 disconnect on octo so far.
