Not gonna lie, I expected the popularity gap to be a lot more than 11%. Then again, I actually got a mirror match while on team Squid, so... Either way, good stuff on all sides.
I don't risk a crack if I leave the waiting for players screen, right?
Yup, you're only at risk of cracks once you're actually in a match.
is there a way to reliably leave a queue without closing the game? I can sometimes do it by going in home screen and back but it doesn't always work.
Hold the Home button and put the console in sleep mode.

As per tradition, I just seem to reach S everywhere else before Splat Zones just call me the assmonger https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/332723843041067018/472024289986740245/Screenshot_20180726-0554182.png

I really hope they bring back flounder heights. That was a great stage.
Usually would be lag, but my guess is that every now and then, the terrible tick rate can be a cruel bitch. You could be done splatting them on your screen, but that wouldn't be the case on theirs and nobody wins
How to Update Splatoon 2 | Nintendo Support 3.2.1 Changes to Competitive Play Fixed an issue where bombs thrown from some types of Bomb Launchers would not cause damage when they directly hit a bubble from a Bubble Blower. Fixed an issue where a Rainmaker shot that hits a bubble from a Bubble Blower would only do some of the intended damage. Fixed an issue where Tenta Missiles fired while locked on to a Rainmaker barrier would not impact the position of the Rainmaker barrier. Changes to Salmon Run Fixed an issue where, when a lot of Snatchers are present, the max number of Golden Eggs on the stage goes down and new Golden Eggs do not appear. Downloading this update data will make it so that you cannot communicate with players using previous update data when in The Shoal.
I finally got mario kart 8 deluxe because I've been having co-workers over to play games kinda regularly. I went to play online and I kept getting communication errors but for some reason forgetting my wifi settings and then reconnecting to the internet fixed it? I haven't had a problem since. Splatoon 2 is my next purchase for sure, I'm having a blast with mario kart online. Nintendo better have their shit in gear when they want to start charging for online because I will shit a brick.
You'll be having the same problem, if not more in Splatoon 2. It's even worse when it comes to Splatfests
Splatoon tourney has been going on for a bit. Here's the link if you're interesting in watching the rest of it. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HDqEGQH3E_M
Honestly I'm amazed at how far controller accuracy has gotten. I know it isn't quite there yet, but sometimes it seems like these players are aiming with a mouse. Gyro should be the new standard fr

Light Tetra Dualies seem good. I always seem to use my auto bombs to cover area, anyways.
The update's been out for like an hour and a half. To add, I still find RM Moray to be the irritated bowel of Satan.
omg the bloblobber is so much fun
Oh man thhe new Tetra Dualies are such a blast. As a trade-off, the game is now Bloblobber hell. Oh god who thought this was a good idea its pretty much an instakill weapon.
Can't wait for a month or two for the shoes
Still at work, friendo is telling me that new Bathtub Bucket is a little too strong for its own good.
I think it feels so strong because no one really knows how to deal with it yet. I think as long as you don't keep running in straight lines, you should be alright for the most part since the individual bubbles don't do too much damage. That said, it really is fun to use and watch, just blobs blobbing everywhere.
I can't believe there's no sound mixing options in this game. I'm super tired of hearing the last minute song over and over again, and my only option is to mute the entire game.
Finally made my first S rank in Splatoon 2 in Splat Zones. Probably helped that people were trying out the new weapons
Top 10 in each gamemode and their most popular weapon. https://twitter.com/SplatoonJP/status/1024578303426875392
I'm thinking about getting a Switch and Splatoon pretty soon but I have a couple of quick questions about it first. I haven't been paying much attention to Splatoon after the first couple months after release. How much content from Splat 1 is in Splat 2? I know there are a handful of maps and weapons brought forward from Splat 1 but that's about all I know. and, is the Octo Expansion a paid DLC or was it just given out?
