Been using it in a lotta pvp and I gotta agree. Most of the other S1 rally monsters have godawful stability problems but the Quattro is just "right".
My favorite thing to do in FH4 is carry co-op leaders in their own cars.

I also used the Game Pass trial to try out FH4 and I've been having a blast with it. Definitely gonna buy it once I have the money to spare.

I just wish I had waited a bit before starting my Game Pass trial. Then I'd have more time to spend with my Monte Carlo (just checked off the last few LaRacer 3-Stars that I just couldn't hit during Winter).
I don't understand what people are doing in these races. I've been in 3 so far, and in all 3 the other person hasn't even managed to finish the race before the match ends. In the first 2, they were in last place the entire time.
They're too accustomed to Rewind and so make mistakes too often. For reference, I even missed a checkpoint and was in last place for a whole lap in that race and STILL placed first. So the fact that they placed last is baffling.

Thankfully someone else had already made the livery I wanted, much better than I could have done it.

anyone here got the 2019 991.2 GT3RS on FH4 and is willing to sell it?

Hospital Records album is out
So they added a route creator in FH4, something I wanted since the Horizon series existed, and I really appreciate it.
But goddamn the thing is frustrating. The fact that you directly draw the route while driving means you're screwed if you want to go back and tweak checkpoints you placed far away, and if you accidentally take a wrong turn or go off the road, it'll draw on the route with no option to correct it.
And I just wasted 20 minutes creating a huge circuit, only for the mandatory test race to glitch out. One of the checkpoints was bugged and didn't register when going through it, trapping me and the other drivatars into an endless respawn loop. Yikes.
Ahhhhh what is Polyphony doing
Dont get me wrong, free content being added to GT Sport is great. But the very first Maserati they add to the game is merely a GranTurismo S... from 10 years ago? Driveclub was released 4 years ago and even that had a then-new GranTurismo MC Stradale. And they also finally added a production MINI. But it’s a 2005 Cooper S. Why so old? Why not a 2015 model? Or a John Cooper Works?
It just puzzles me why Polyphony arbitrarily go for older cars which aren’t even at the top of their range. Eg the game has an almost 10-year-old Alfa MiTo, but it’s not even a Quadrifoglio Verde. It also has a Peugeot RCZ, but it’s merely a base model and not even a performance-inclined RCZ R. Fuck knows why Polyphony does that shit.
More about custom routes in FH4 : turns out there's an easy exploit you can do to win against drivatars.
Since you directly draw your custom route when driving, drivatars will follow this route no matter where checkpoints are placed.
Therefore the exploit can be done in 3 easy steps :
1-Place a checkpoint
2-Make a super long detour, drive off the road, go wherever you want without placing a single checkpoint
3-Go back to where you placed the first checkpoint and place the next one close to it.
This will make the drivatars follow the route and do the super long detour while you can just directly go to the next checkpoint and skip all of it.
My problem with this is that about half the custom races I played use this exploit and as far as I can tell, you can't preview the route map until after you started the race. Those races suck and are boring as hell since the challenge is completely gone.

See all those little bits with sharp turns ? You can skip all of them, which explains how far ahead I am from drivatars on the highest difficulty.
ah shame, all those latenights organizing meetups and other stuff over at turboduck
I am still plodding through FH4, really enjoying it but damn was I annoyed when out of 3 super spins I got 9 bits of clothing/customisation stuff which I could not care less about haha.
i'd take that over this (friend's pic)

Just remember, everything else but what you get on a spin is RNG fluff, you never had a chance of getting it, soon as you hit spin the reward was already decided.
STOP RUINING THE ILLUSION OF ME BARELY GETTING A VULCAN FE
Yeah I figure it's the same as opening crates in games, the what you see is just to make it interesting really. I just think it's kind of bad luck to have 9 spins and for all of them to be crap I don't care about haha. Each to their own of course, I am sure someone else would be happy with this stuff haha.
In case anyone was curious:

How does the co-op campaign/racing work in horizon 4? I want to play with my dad but don't want to be racing dudes in x class cars
dont have FH4 so no idea, but yeah now that you mentioned it, I hate how almost everyone is so bloody obsessed with absurdly fast cars, eg twin-turbocharged AWD Dodge Vipers with >1,000bhp. I don’t understand how anyone can actually enjoy them. You have no time to take in the sights, you almost never have traction unless you have traction control on, and you’re constantly crashing into shit.
This season I can finally go full rozzer

Oh jesus, GT Sport cracks me up
If you drive 42.2km in a day, you complete a ‘driving marathon’ and you are rewarded with a free car. Four silhouetted cars pop up on screen and one is picked at random as your prize. Typically, the four cars are:
A relatively common road car
a Gr.3/Gr.4/Gr.B race/rally car
a Vision Gran Turismo car, and
some other special car (eg a classic race car)
But the selection isn’t random; it’s rigged so that approximately 90% of the time, you will get the relatively common road car. So anyways I completed the driving marathon today; I was getting a free prize! I looked at the silhouettes and could see I think a Honda NSX Gr.3, a McLaren VGT, the 2017 Mercedes Formula 1 car. A pretty great selection of prizes.
And then I saw it.
A Peugeot 208.
One of the cheapest cars in the game, and which I already had. I just started giggling as soon as I saw it and while the cars were spinning around on the screen. I knew that was the car I was going to win! The cars started slowing down, and I saw that the selector was heading straight for the 208, and my giggles turned to roaring laughter. And then it landed on the 208 and I could hardly breathe.
Credit where it is due, Polyphony do a great job of incorporating comedy into their games
Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but I'm pretty sure the drivatars will balance around the performance index of the highest performance car while remaining in the same class. Though once I took a different class while playing with a friend and half the AI were split between the class I was driving in and the other half was the class my friend was in.
Fuck some licence tests in GT3 were bullshit. That Domestic B test with the R32 was painful to get gold in, and yet that was the ‘easiest’ category of licence! Also have painful memories of getting gold with the Camaro SS at Seattle and the Lancer Evo at the sharp hairpin at Midfield.
How many times did it take you to get gold? I know that the steering in GT3 can feel a bit ‘floaty’ compared to other games, but ironically, that gold run actually seemed a little sloppy at times. But it was a good run nonetheless.
i have origin access atm is it worth giving nfs:payback a try?
Its...something. If you got it for basically free go check it out if you want. Its really not great tho. I spent $80 for the ultimate edition at launch thinking it'd be something like MW05. Its not. It sucks hard if you ask me.
