if it makes you feel any better Fortnite's minigun is as bad as TF2's.
Usually it boots up faster for me while I'm in casual. Though that could just be a placebo effect on my part.
takes me up to like 3 hours
For me it usually takes about maybe 10 or so minutes.
:0 howwwwww
Not sure, but it somehow works.

it was such a great season too
Wait wasnt the option to getting locked to duel as the same class a feature since a long time ago?
Considering the hatless update was "a long time ago", why is this confusing?
According to VNN's Valve Ketchup Podcast, he has heard from a few workshop contributors that their items have been purchased in preparation of a Summer update In Tyler's own words: "This is unconfirmed. I don't want another 9/6 situation, I don't want people dancing in the streets thinking "Oh, we're getting a major summer update". I've heard from 3 different people that Valve has picked out some workshop items for a summer update. This could be another Rainy Day situation." I wish it never ended.
Because a lot of users here started playing at most 3 years ago and don't realize that the Hatless update came in 2011. They might not have even realized the Hatless update existed.
Workshop items could also be maps, you know. Apart from this UGC League Gaming "A new set of medals is due to be added to the game shortly, having been approved by Eric Smith at Valve." in combination with what vnn said, optimism levels are increased by 30%.
I too am looking forward to our second medals only update in a row.
How can you say it will be a second medals only update? Linux and OS X fix required the whole game to be overhauled!
Am I one of the rare people that would much rather have balance, fixes, map fixes update instead of new content being added?
throngs of players have wished for this for years. the conclusion is as such - it doesn't work because valve doesn't work fast enough. When a nerf / fix is 3 years late, no one cares anymore.
I just want them to fix some maps that's all. Some official versions of the maps suck dick, community made pro versions are way better.
I know achievements are basically meaningless, but I was about to finish a few of those map "Win +130 rounds" achievements but my stats on TF2 got reset today without any prompt and no reason as far as I'm aware, and now I lost all of my progress towards them and a few more. Makes me feel pretty bummed out about it because they're rather grindy and because I was starting to pickup TF2 again. What could prompt a seemingly random stats wipe to begin with?

tomonth is the month the update will NOT be the heavy update and wont be as big as jungle inferno rate [Baby] to enter, if I am incorrect and someone reminds me of this, I will raffle away this cursed item https://i.imgur.com/BRCb8rY.png
I got the Powerhouse 132 round achievement without grinding, is that bad?
Powerhouse is one of my favorite maps, so I'd say no.
With the upcoming release of Artifact, I predict that the next major update will be the last. I feel like, knowing that Valve doesn't want people to add any more unique medals to the game, there may just be room for exactly one more major update before they totally abandon it. Maybe they'll bundle it with Asteroid, Cactus Canyon and the final comic issue, but I wouldn't bet on that. Of course, they will never declare it as the final major update, as otherwise the market would crash and the game would become totally unprofitable. But as time goes on, it will become more and more clear that there isn't any more content coming.

Honestly I feel like the refusal to add more medal materials/models isn't a bad sign. If they actually wanted to just give up on TF2 they wouldn't give a shit about adding superfluous medals.
Seems incredibly overdramatic and entirely baseless. The medal statement could simply be them not wanting to constantly be bugged about medals, and even then they still added medals. Going from "no more medals" to "ending game support" is quite a gigantic leap. It's like saying because they abandoned the replay system, TF2 is gonna die.
I feel like CSGO would be more likely on the chopping block than TF2. Updates for CSGO have slowed, playerbase is declining, and a lot of new content wasn't received that well. (R8, paid sprays, new Nuke, Canals,)
