I just remembered that the Morphie's law developers have been teasing that something would be happening today.

That is the same time as the predicted Nintendo direct.
Looking more and more likely for a mini Nindies direct...
Not just Morphies Law.

Wow, I thought that was a joke, I wasn't expecting anything today
You guys have no idea how excited I am for Windjammers 2
Oh shit Baba is you is coming to the switch? That's one of the neater puzzle games I've seen in awhile.
Take a drink every time you hear "Rogue"
I wish they didn't put the narrator in after every single trailer, it really breaks the atmosphere and flow of them.
To give it some credit, Streets of Rogue is pretty solid. It's pretty packed with content even in its early stages and features a custom class maker thing. I'm pretty damn tired of roguelike and roguelike-like games though.
60ish fps
well at least they're honest
That 'Night Call' game looks very cool, like a more artsy version of Subsurface Circular.

A Hat in Time confirmed for Switch.

idk why they blatantly told us its not happening and then they do a 180 and say its happening
not complaining though. AHIT is perfect for switch. and i LOVE that 3d render of hat kid and the co-op partner.
I'm guessing they found some help with importing the game, I'm curious who (if they did get help doing the port). He did had trouble with it at the beginning. Now for the next thing that people will complain: Physical Version.
God help them if they make a shitty Home Menu icon.
I wonder if that market trend of most indie devs saying the Switch's sales out-preformed every other release swayed them to work on it.
I will not be surprised if that's the case, and I also wouldn't be surprised if the game outsells the PC in a week.
Doing some cross posting from the announcement thread regarding a Hat in Time: the DLC Seal the Deal is currently only planned for the PC version.
That's gonna be a hard sell for sure. Unless they're holding out until they finished both DLC for them to work on console version.
Anything that goes beyond the system's limitations?
It's still nice to see that Nintendo is embracing Indie devs since they know new blood is effective (BotW and Odyssey). And with Unreal having Switch compatibility when developing games, more power to smaller teams.
And aside rogue-likes (rogue lites? I dunno the term), a lot of games from Indie devs have smaller objectives/levels. So portability works amazingly well with it.
the switch isnt some sorta almighty console that can do everything, it absolutely has its limitations. i was just saying AHIT would work really well since, you know, its a nintendo console and AHIT is a collectathon
Yeah people seem to hold the Switch at almost impossible expectations thinking its gonna get every new triple A game and just every game in general will come to it. We're lucky to even get some games that came out several years ago on other consoles.
I feel like Gears For Breakfast should have just said the "nothing to announce at this time" legalese garbage for AHiT on Switch instead of being so sure they'd never port it. Clearly if the opportunity arose (which it did) they would've done it, so it seemed weird that they had to say it so rigidly.
Announce a new console version and then say that it'll be inferior at the same time, great. I'm going to assume that they'll eventually port it to consoles but still.
