Does anyone know if the family plan can cover multiple switches or do you have to get a plan per switch?
Eon GCHD HDMI adapter for Gamecube as AkujiTheSpider said, and Wii, component cableswith a decent upscaler, the one Akuji mentioned is a good not too expensive one. Another option for wii would be a WiiU since it's vwii can output over HDMI
Looks like there are rumors going about that there is going to be a Nintendo Direct this week.
Your link currently goes to Google.
I need to use this for stuff now
We have to find the rumors for ourselves. Our else we won't appreciate them.
Sorry about that, Newpunch linking has failed me. Here is the link: https://www.reddit.com/r/NintendoSwitch/comments/9ck6oq/loz_the_infamous_smash_e3_leaker_and_other/
Any HDMI Adapter at best is going to output a quality that equals the official Nintendo Component cables for the Wii. If your tv supports component and you have inputs available for it, I would choose that as your option as it'll be less expensive and more reliable. I wouldn't really bother with an upscaler if you are just playing Wii/Gamecube games, your TV will do an okay enough job with a 480p signal. It's more important for 2D than 3D I'd say. Even then, it won't look anywhere near as good as emulating in higher res via dolphin. Just seems a little expensive for the small gains.
Gamecube can't output to 480p with component cables though, which are about 300 dollars. Best it can do is 480i without them.
Pretty good guess, to be sure. More info on paid online plus Splatoon 2 stuff, along with whatever I'm forgetting.
The Eon HDMI Adapter uses the Digital Out port that the component cables used, letting it use 480p.
This completely flew by me. But Asterix and Obelix XXL 2 is getting a remaster for all current platforms. https://images-na.ssl-images-amazon.com/images/I/81X7u5jKkoL._SL1500_.jpg https://images-na.ssl-images-amazon.com/images/I/71NGtnrbqyL._SL1500_.jpg And official third game is coming 2019, also for all platforms.
It's important to note that adapter is 150 dollars and is only compatable with GCN's that have the Digital Out port, which only early models do.

So I was looking on the Nintendo online store to see if I could grab new Wiimotes since my '07 ones are going. They only have one kind left: https://storemedia.nintendo.com/ui/images/devices/wiiu/parts-accessories/wiiu-yoshiremoteplus-package-640x480.png Also they still sell the official GameCube power bricks for $10, what a deal.
ebay and look for New only.
It would be sick as fuck if someone did a DnB remix of this song: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cy9iksSk9DM It'd be kinda like Foregone Destruction, except Ancient-Japanese themed.

I'm not really surprised, TWEWY has a unique control scheme that I'm not sure could work with the Pro Controller.
This seems consistent with a statement that allegedly Best Buy was going to have demos for SSBUltimate on the 8th according to their site and quickly removed it, though I didn't see it, myself.

Huh, that was sooner than expected for the SNK NEO GEO MINI International, but there's STILL no pre-orders nor pricing for it. Still, gonna grab one and hopefully I can get some controllers too.

He's already in Smash: https://www.ssbwiki.com/images/thumb/8/80/Falco_SSBU.png/250px-Falco_SSBU.png
Ravioli… Ah mamma mia.
https://youtu.be/RPw8Gmb_KVI The final TWEWY trailer is up, and it seems to confirm you can't play with a pro controller (i.e. must use touchscreen or motion controls) On the one hand I'm a little dissapointed they didn't go that extra mile, on the other based on the gameplay I've seen I doubt they could do so and still keep the game fun and true to the original, as I've heard the mobile version is closer to a controller port but also reduces the other character to an assist. Kind of a complex situation it seems
I'm personally feeling really disappointed that Nintendo is focusing purely on the NES library for retro games. SNES, N64, and especially the GBA would be a gold mine for titles to bring to Switch. The Game Boy family in alone has a truly colossal library of classics that all are already well designed for handheld and are trivial for modern hardware to emulate. I was playing Kirby: Star Allies the other day and thinking just how great Kirby and the Amazing Mirror would be on the Switch. Now that they're saying these titles might be online only, it makes the emulation service portion of Online even less attractive, considering these games are truly puny to store, and having dozens of classic games to play on the go would be such a killer app for a handheld.
It is extremely annoying it's always NES. You'd think the only games they made prior to 2006 were NES games. Nintendo, please stop making the NES or even SNES the focus. How about some GBA games please.
On principal I hope Nintendo Switch online isn't a success. So Nintendo learns how to offer an online service worth paying for and have basic online features that aren't moved to a crappy phone app. But I know because of Splatoon and Smash alone it will be a success.
I have a feeling it will have a rocky start but once Smash gets release, it's gonna make bank if you want to play online. They did sorta listen to us when we complained about the 1 NES game per month shit they were trying to pull, now it's PS+ in regards you keep the games as long as you have a subscription.
