If they delayed the whole direct it must've been something major, if it's prerecorded there must be something that they couldn't change in time for the showing.
Still I don't think they'll delay it by more than a week or two, and there's a chance they'll add more stuff by that time

Also it seems that they were going to show the new Yoshi game in the Direct as Nintendo's official website leaked the final name: Yoshi's Crafted World
Yoshi's Crafted World = Yoshi's Minecrafted World = Minecraft World
Neat! I never played these, so I might consider getting them on Switch.

All of the LEGO games are fun but I have fond memories of the Harry Potter ones.
directs are all pre-recorded. the reason they postponed it for EVERYBODY is because hyping games up during a time of crisis is disrespectful to those affected by the earthquake

so I have a switch in the mail and my pro controller arrived first. I'm trying to get it to work on my PC but windows just won't recognize it as a USB device when I plug it in, any thoughts?
I have used my Pro Controller before with my PC, I ended up having to get a Bluetooth receiver to get it to work.
its supposed to be able to work via usb, im just baffled as to why its not working.
Same here. I have noticed a setting in the Switch settings where you can use the pro controller wired to the dock rather than wireless, but that hasn't had any effect as far as I can tell.
I'll have to wait until my Switch gets in then to see if I can get it working by having it get paired up to a console first.
There are some recently released Win10 drivers for this, which are on the /r/NintendoSwitch subreddit.
Dang, I guess this would've been announced during today's Direct. At this rate the Direct we actually get will be a significantly shorter version that what they intended, if they cut out the stuff we learn about in the coming days.

I don't get that recognition with or without drivers installed - it's just not recgonizing a controller being plugged in.
