I think I've encountered all of the switch exclusive content in Hyper Light Drifter, and it seems cool? One is a gun they placed next to a basegame outfit which only really expands the lore, but the new outfit and other new weapon have a completely new area added in town locked off by keys. Don't want to get into specifics for it, but it's a lot harder and more interesting than I thought it'd be, though admittedly a little short.
Is this new content worth a switch purchase if you felt done with the original? Not really, no. But as someone who didn't beat the original, they all fit really well and were an enjoyable bonus.
Wow, I'm very pleasantly surprised with the Mega Man 11 demo.
It's really fucking good, feels just like the originals nearly to a tee.
It's good when my only nit-pick is that time doesn't stop when you grab health, which I guess is to not interrupt the flow, but I always thought that grabbing health when you were super low,
and having everything stop so you could watch it fill up was satisfying as fuck.

Considering this, he'd have memes on his side either way.
I'm picturing a game where Waluigi takes it too far and even Wario is like "woah, slow your roll," leading to the three Star Children Bros. having to fight him. Then after getting trounced, he calms down, and the gang offers an invitation to tennis or kart racing, and he becomes Wario's buddy from then on.
Would have been a nice introduction and development for his character, something a little more in line with a Kirby villain. As it is we have barely anything to go on, except that he might show up to partner Wario and sometimes also likes to scam people.
that'd be an excellent plot for a new Mario & Luigi RPG game!
I wonder if we'll see a resurgence of players in the original Mario Kart 8 and Splatoon 1 due to people (understandably) not wanting to pay for Switch Online.
Doubt it. Nintendo is good knowing what people will pay for. And $20 is low enough to where even people that hate the idea will still pay.

It does kinda annoy me how Nintendo is letting Ubisoft use their IPs and Ubisoft won't bring any major franchises over besides Just Dance.
I dont think some of their multiplayer titles would work very well on Switch. Since some of those rely on communication and Nintendo is bad with that, i dont think they wanna mess with it.
They still have plenty of single player games they could bring over.
So it could end up being the best Starfox game in years, and have nothing to do with Nintendo. What a weird world we're in.

It's like 4am in Japan right now, they aren't going to announce it this early and honestly we'd be lucky to get an announcement at all today.
They will need to redub the direct in multiple languages to account for any instances of "Today" referring to demo releases, the 13th sounds fairly plausible as such, though maybe we'll get it sooner.
