octopath spoilers I just ran into the gate yesterday with all the mini bosses and true final boss. I'm kind of upset that you can't save there because the mini bosses are all kinda tedious to do and can take up to 1 hour to defeat all only to fail the final boss and have to redo everything. Don't even feel like reattempting unless I grind to max level.... which I really don't feel like doing.
With a proper settup you can cut that hour in half and kill all of them in just a few turns. That said it is suggested that you get to level 70 at least before attempting. You can go into it in the high 60's but I think 70 is the safety net number. If you're going in at 40-50 though just don't bother.
Thanks for letting me know, I was 50s so that explains it.
Yep. Forest of Purgation or whatever to the left of Whispermill is the highest level place in the game and you can 1 turn kill stuff with Sorcerer assuming you have it. Just donate BP and fully blast things. The grind is painful know that now. Other general tips are: Get Saving Grace (Cleric) on everyone. Healing to 9999 on revival and overhealing is crucial. Physical Prowess and Magical Edge (Warmaster and Runemaster) should be on whoever it applies (Magic for Cyrus but Physical for Olberic for example) Surpassing Limit (Warrior) is needed on all your damage dealers I like giving healers (at least one on each team) patience so they can for sure handle everything coming their way. Alfyn is a amazing healer. Runemaster Tressa is almost required, she can go on your A team or your B team and be useful. On Team A her transfer rune + sidestep and rest will clear status ailments and help you deal with the physical summons the boss can call, and team B has to put up with high power physical attack spam so sidestep is good to have. Turn 1 on phase 2 decides if you're going to win or lose honestly. Have a starseer divine intervention the Maw and a theif shackle the blade while your healer (I had Alfyn) overheals everyone. Do NOT let those buffs wear off if you can help it as Woman will try to buff them until she's destroyed.

Just in time for Goku to be announced in Smash
My Goku vs Waluigi fantasies would be one step closer to reality...
oh god please no
I'm hoping they make some sort of control scheme that uses just one joycon. I would love carrying around my switch and just starting pickup games on a whim in DBFZ. It's definitely a game both casuals and competitive players can enjoy
They did confirm that it will have a simpler control for single-joycon. I do recall them tweeting about it but don't remember when.
joycons have a control stick and six buttons all you need for most fighting games, dbfz included (i think?)
Yeah, the Switch version supports single joyo con per player: NINTENDO SWITCH FEATURES• Simplified controls for single Joy-Con play Source: https://www.bandainamcoentstore.com/product/482100/dragon-ball-fighterz-switch
DBZF actually uses only 4 buttons, the shoulder buttons are just shortcuts.
It's 6, two are for teammates.
IF you guys don't want to get spoiled from Smash, a huge leaked happened from the official Smash Youtube so stay clear of social media and the Smahs Bros. thread here on Facepunch unless you want to be spoiled. Oh whoops, completely forgot about the team button.
https://nintendoeverything.com/scribblenauts-mega-pack-announced-for-switch-scribblenauts-unlimited-and-scribblenauts-unmasked-with-new-content/ Two new levels for Unlimited and two new levels and new characters/costumes for Unmasked. Unlimited has listed an online sharing system for custom objects.
Always good to see Scribblenauts get some attention. Unfortunately I already have Unlimited on Wii U and I'm not a big enough DC fan to justify buying the pack. The weird thing is that I often find myself wishing for a new Scribblenauts game even though Unlimited/Unmasked already have basically every object in existence.
They'd better have that Bloody Tears remix up on the site after this. Finally, Stamina has stocks.

Dead Cells is amazing on the Switch but I noticed a few camera glitches where it'll abruptly change when you go down a ladder for example, is this a Switch glitch or is it also present on the PC version?

So, any guess as to why Luigi in that trailer had a brand new backpack?
I've been playing Dead Cells for a few hours now, and it's a really great game! The devs definitely nailed the "tough-but-fair" balance. no shields, we die like men
My biggest problem with Dead Cells (other than some weird damage scaling later) is how there's very little downtime for me. I'm rushing through for the time doors, the parts in between levels are less than 15 seconds, and dying will almost instantaneously restart you at the beginning. I feel like I have to deliberately pause and destress at times because there's no natural pausing point I'm probably just so used to Hollow Knight, though, where things are slower and deliberate comparatively and after dying you have to walk your way to your body, typically through emptier hallways, so there's more time to relax in between runs. I hope DC clicks better for me, it is really polished.
OMFG - Playing MK8 with proper headphones for the first time to test out my G633 since my G430 died yesterday and Holy Shit the audio quality Call me crazy but MK8's audio on a headset surpasses Bad Co.2
