Why can't I read these tweets? They don't show up, it looks like a massive space in the post. Is there a fix for it?
Also, I haven't played Terraria for months. I had started playing again with my friend, but we were in the beginning, we had just killed the big skeleton (one of the first bosses).
You probably have some browser extension blocking social media.
Are they adding anything else major or is just wind?

Seems to be a lot of aesthetic and quality of life improvements.
Just started a new run with calamity, forgot how addicting this game is. Hell I'd still be playing right now if it werent midnight and I had to go to bed.
I started another game with my friend yesterday and we went exploring. We found a red biome with a giant spider walking in a cave wall that rektd us. What is that biome? I don't recall it existing when I last played. My fried said it's something something crimson.
It was fun to get rektd by all these mobs while we had the shitty starting shortsword :p
crimson. if your world has crimson, the corruption isnt in your world. the crimson replaces corruption in worlds that have it, and vice versa (it uses many of the same mechanics too, but the boss is different)
Has anyone here been following Super Terraria World? In a nutshell, STW is a standalone mod that transforms Terraria into an MMO-esque game. Open beta for Super Terraria World (STW) starts on Feb. 2nd!
How's that supposed to work

I haven't gone thru terraria since the initial moon Lord update, has there been enough new content to warrant a new playthrough? Also are there any plans for a 1.4?
There's been nothing on the scale of the Moon Lord update, most of the larger updates since then have mostly been quality of life improvements and some minor extra content. The only significant things have been an update to the wiring system, improvements to the Desert/Underground Desert biomes, and a Dungeon Defenders 2 crossover event.
A 1.3.6 update has been in development for nearly two years at this point, and everything that's been seen so far suggests it's more QoL improvements and minor content, but a massive amount of them that covers practically every part of the game. A 1.4 update is planned as well, but all that's known so far is that it will have "a form of creative mode".
Some kind of adventure mode would be pretty sweet, like Starbound's scripted missions but user creatable.
So we know if Relogic is working on that fabled "Terraria 2" still?
They've cancelled it last year
Terraria: Otherworld isn't Terraria 2.
Otherworld was kind of an offshoot of regular terraria, while terraria 2 would be to terraria what risk of rain 2 was to risk of rain 1.
I remember when 1.2 came out and that was supposed to be the final update, or something. I know at some point they said they'd stop updating the game, but then they pulled a Hayao Miyazaki and returned
1.2 release was such a big deal back in the day, how it added more than double the content that used to exist in 1.1. And they only kept on adding more after that.

I wonder in how long 1.3.6 will arrive. Feels like they've been teasing it forever now.
That's because they are. The wait between 1.3.5 and 1.3.6 is now longer than between 1.1 and 1.2
However, it's amazing to see the game still being updated, still for free, and still with plenty of content. 1.4 is also happening sometime after 1.3.6, so the game is far from over.
The first mention of 1.3.6 was at may 19 2017. So it's been a bit more than two years now.
I remember when my friend would joke about how the update would never come back in 2018. The update actually outlived him by almost a year now and the joke isn't funny anymore.
