Apparently Australium level is the same as the tour you find it and there's around 22 level one golden frying pans.
Honestly it's crazy it looks like Valve is going to miss another summer update. You would think early summer would be the best time to drop a major update since high school and college kids aren't in school and have lots more free time to play games but what do I know.
this makes me unbelievably jealous.
You can reset you're level by deleting your badge. For the longest time people believed that doing this gave you better odds at getting aussies for whatever reason. Which is probably why there are so many Level One Golden Frying Pans...
I don't get it. I just finished rebuilding my old map that I discontinued due to the awful way I'd built it making it super hard to improve. I built it modularly this time using instances so I could go in and change all the buildings and structures on a nice grid, and rebuilt all the lights to be instances and everything is an instance now, so it's way easier to compartmentalise issues and sort things out and decorate iteratively. I rebuilt everything using pretty much similar scales, if not outright copy pasting parts that I was always super happy with, but somehow it's gone from a fairly small map, to being vast and hugely oversized in almost every single place. It looks absolutely massive and I walk around the map just feeling a bit embarassed for myself even though it's in dev textures and is in no way finished. It just looks and feels wrong. I don't understand how this has happened and my motivation to actually finish the map has been completely eviscerated by this :-(
what if tf2's melee hit detection worked exactly like l4d2's, where you hit anyone in front of you, allowing you to hit enemies even with teammates in the way?
because a. the teammate still absorbs part of the hit which doesn't address the problem and b. false hits (and false sounds) still happen as much if not even more than single hits. the first step to securing reliable melee is to remove the wind up delay and then obviously disable friendly hits
it does though, killing floor might be small and old, but if it is making them the most money then they will obviously support it, people always bring up the argument that an indie developer would dream of having a game like TF2 and support it more, and that's because an indie developer also dreams of having a game making as much money as TF2 does, do you really think if say tripwire had a title as big as dota they would continue supporting killing floor?

truth to be told, if you care about a game, or a project, or a group, or a band, you just stay it and enjoy it. if you don't, then you move onto something else - treasure whatever you got from your experience and keep going. nobody forces you to play tf2, nor the devs owe you anything else beyond the years of support already dumped into the game, nor the community.
Joke's on you, we'll never get the final comic installment
Would be nice if we had some hints regarding the new update. It's nice to say that the team is working hard and all, but without any evidence, it feels very speculative. That which is not seen, counts for nothing.
Has anyone else been getting an excessive amount of case drops lately? I feel like I've been getting 4-5 new ones every day for the past week or so. Maybe it's just my turn for the crate avalanche?
I've been on the opposite side of things. Ever since they banned opening cases in some countries I've been getting fewer case drops over all.
Maybe it depends on how much you play? Cause I don't play TF2 anymore, but every time I open it up to use the in-game workshop importer, I instantly drop a case. Even recently I dropped the blue moon AND the 2017 winter case at once.
every now and then I check out my old tf2 clips and find goodies like this one https://fat.gfycat.com/NaughtyEntireClingfish.webm go- i mean bad times
too bad that wouldn't have worked with the new flames everyone love so much
Because I love you guys and the game. Also I'm busy with other things lately.
They continue supporting Red Orchestra, which isn't as popular as Killing Floor, so no.
RIP Gigantic. TWI also isn't a good example of a company that the TF2 team should be taking notes on. They constantly - CONSTANTLY - add new things to KF2 that people hate, ever since the game first entered Early Access. Random specimen teleporting, increased resistance, releasing the game at full price and adding crate microtransactions before they even finished adding the 10 perks, ditching a perk entirely and replacing it with a very clear rushjob Survivalist perk, the weapon skin and crate microtransaction systems, the general quality of the cosmetics (they give items like the kitten thing a run for their money with how low quality they can be), and even the recent EDAR enemies and introducing a weapon upgrade system. TWI is a good example of a company that tries too many new things.
Oh I almost forgot. @Weyu you won the Deep Cover Operator. Add me on steam /id/FalconHBFS/

At least TWI updates the game frequently enough to address the concerns of dedicated players without forcing them to wait over nine years to fix glaring issues. TWI is a godsend compared to Valve; just because they may be imperfect doesn't mean they aren't superior in every way. No company is perfect.
thats kinda the point old flames sucked ass
really? I thought the point was look at this sick move i did
Honestly, the only thing I like about the new flames is that their particles are more accurately placed. For me, saying "no flamethrower mojo" is about the same as saying "no gluten"; I don't think I've ever been noticeably affected by it (although many people probably were). Besides that... -They look worse (opinion) -They are impossible to see through -Aiming them has been simplified a lot (in most cases you just put your mouse over the other person, when before you had to aim it more like a projectile, and you could use your movement to position the flames much more) And though that style of aim was kind of unintuitive, it could work a lot better now that particles are more accurate
that move should not have worked and is just a good showcase of how fucked old flames are that move was still sick though
hey, remember those TF2 NECA figures? the ones that stopped mid-production? the figures that would leave your collection suspiciously incomplete and also lopsided to the RED side if you were to get all available releases? well, the third series on the BLU side, which is the spy and engineer, should have shipped not too long ago if you preordered them. good news: the spy's face looks a bit better (the community found it to be of laughable quality on the RED side) bad news: the BLU engineer has a red toolbox. this leaves us with the scout, sniper, and medic to go. and considering it was like, 4 years between the release of the RED & BLU spy and engineer, we can expect those by the heat death of the universe.
I can find games at 4-5am, full of russians.
Those figures were so disappointing, plagued by bad sculpts, horrible engineering, sloppy paint, and problems with joint tolerances. None of them can stand or hold a pose, and the paint chips if you so much as glance at them. They also can't hold their weapons very well, and speaking of the weapons, they're made out of flimsy, cheap plastic that is prone to breakage.
