The crosshair changes when you are in critical distance in World iirc.
I wish I knew what I was doing. The only weapons I seem to like right now are Gunlance (but absolutely no idea how to properly use it), Hunting Horn (my personal favorite so far), and Dual Blades (no idea how to properly utilize it)
Anjanath down
This shit is why I love monhun, you're struggling to fight a big scary monster, you eventually kill the thing after tons of effort and next thing you know you've got them on farm
Wish the fucker would stop being stingy about pelts though >:(
In the training area you'll see some basic combos for weapons, could be useful.
If you like the Hunting Horn you may be into Hammers? Much like the Horn they're hard to use but unlike it they have stupidly high burst damage.
Beat Anjanath without breaking a sweat. I just wish the vespoid horn upgrade wasn't locked down to having to find Girros much later in the game
So the Hammer seems to be the best weapon for me, I really like how it feels and stunning is awesome while putting out some real nice damage. I really enjoy it.
But I wish it was better at the Gunlance, but I can't seem to work with it. I mean, who doesn't want to run around with a gigantic gun and shield while wearing huge armor.
Switch axe is pretty great as well, but a bit too much things to keep track of for a noob like me.
Anjanath is beating my ass
Wish I knew about the pets system for the rooms earlier, now I'm playing this like pokemon.
Also the big wasp is a lot bigger than it looked out in the world when put in the room, fuckers an absolute unit dominating it.

They seriously need to fix the texture resolution, getting close ups esp in camp is not a pleasant experience right now, no matter what settings you have.
Haha wow, didn't know you could do this.
The load times are so fast I don't get enough time to read the tips
1/10 shit port
Considering the thunder weapon stutters I'm getting, I'm slightly terrified to know how bad Kirin's effects are. I don't need that fight getting any worse than it already is.

imo its a lot easier solo, half the time ina group someone gets greedy and waste faints
rather than using armour for its defense value pick parts with good bonuses
Have they released the event schedule for PC yet? I need to be reunited with my sunglasses, wriggler head, and donté CB asap
I'm worried we wont get the Behemoth event on the PC just due to the fact it's tied to the FFXIV event may not happen again.
you can find the schedule for event quests here Event Quests | Monster Hunter
You lot set up your custom shouts yet?

Because I certainly did.
behemoth is a permanent monster on consoles, and ffxiv have had repeat crossover events in the past (yokai watch, dragon quest, etc.)
... There's a regular bow!?
Apparently my brain has completely glossed over an entire weapon type this whole time. I thought there were only 3 ranged weapon types, not 4.
I have no idea what to choose
the guy that did the NIER fixes is making some for MHW too
[Special K] Something Something Blah Blah Blah
Bow for style points.
Regular bow is kick ass, use it. Just watch your stamina.
4? There's only 3. Bow, Heavy Bowgun, Light Bowgun. Unlesss you include the Gunlance I suppose. But the Gunlance really isn't a ranged weapon in any way. You need to be VERY close to the target to use the said "gun". It's more of a blast hit.
Use the bow if you want every fight to be a deadly ballet where monsters frequently struggle to keep up with you as you dance and slide around them and every single part of them is broken and destroyed by the end of the fight.
Other than special ammo types, I really can't find why I'd use heavy bowgun over the regular.
BIG GUNS FOR BIG DAMAGE
