In so far as I am aware its not like a relaunch or anything so there shouldn't be any progression loss.

As far as I remember, EU wore dark blue shirts. NA wore blue pants with a white stripe, and either a white or light blue shirt. Uniform wasn't really regulated though and people were free to come up with their own as long as it didn't look completely different. And even then we only really wore our uniforms when grouped as a clan.
Only officers wore dark blue on EU. Light blue shirt and stripe. Later on we kinda laxed that so some older non-officers were also using dark blue, and some of us officers started using red + white stripes on the arms

Saw this thread got bumped and it made me update the game and hop back on,
I was bored and always liked the idea of BloodRose mercenarys running around so made a car and outfit around it.
Game is still full of max rank stompers but I've been managing to keep up.

Yeeep, an't that the truth. Staying in the bronze server at least makes it not as terrible, ranking up just because you're going out of your way to do the tutorials and ranking up with people is rather stupid.
Still, still having a great time, and even roped in a few friends who sounded interested who're also havin' a good time.

Hey I remember this game. Was fun zooming around in my windowless van with "free candy" painted on the side. Lost interest due to the grind for a weapon that wasn't the shitty starter.

Not really. The grind is as awful as it's always been am afraid - that said you really are underestimating the starter gun
Are you sure about that gun? Its was hot garbage. Thankfully it had an equally horrible sidearm to match.
It's one of my favourite guns - really reliable to spray with, and the Obeya FBW (which has no become the starter for a few years) was always considered one of the best guns in the game for a reason
As the description calls it "the jack of all trades, master of none". It's not as good at range as the N-TEC, and not as good up close as any SMG, but if you have the skill you can best both of their weapons. Sometimes I would run the STAR just to be a hipster and fuck people around; one of the best ways to get hackusated was to use a 'weak' niche weapon like a STAR effectively.
