RDR1 doesn't show the animation. The camera always faces John or Jack. This shows the full thing.

So from looking at the options menu video, it looks like you can't disable the obnoxious hitmarkers. That's a shame. If they release a PC version, I hope I'll be able to mod that shit out.

Just a tip for anyone who doesn't want to get spoiled by Youtube's recommended videos: Delete your whole view history, and after that don't watch any RDR related video and you should be safe.
Had this preordered via Argos so I could use my credit card with them. Hadn't received an order confirmation in a few days but money was taken from my card. Phoned em up yesterday and there was apparently an error in their systems but re-ordered the game for me. Got the text this morning! Shame it was a text saying that it was out of stock and that I'd be refunded.
Eh, I was wanting to chip away at the price with the credit card rather than landing a lump sum on it, then sell it when I was done to clear the credit.
But my girlfriend works at Tesco and gets 20% off everything this week so I'm gonna abuse that to get 3 x £20 PS store cards and just go digital because like fuck am I living Friday without some RDR2.
The main issue I have with the digital version in the UK is that it's always at least £10 more than the disc version. Not worth the extra money, especially with this game were you have to download 100gb too.
Digital versions costing more than the physical versions is always gonna be mind boggling for me. Like why is the version with infinite quantities that can be distributed anywhere, where the company doesn't have to print out discs using physical resources, package it and ship it to various stores in limited quantities, more expensive?
Probably to maximize profits since Sony and Microsoft keep a bigger portion of it with digital purchases.
I still don't understand that idea though. Surely making the digital version more expensive is only going to push people to continue to get the physical version instead. I know it's done that for me many times. If they made the price competitive surely it would people more likely to use their ecosystem more often, and in turn get more money because they get a bigger portion of the profits from each sale. Feels like they are just shooting themselves in the foot.
well i mean it's made for this gen's hardware, not ported over from last gen like GTA5 was.
Is that an issue everywhere but the US? I chose the digital purchase because it was the same exact price.
I can't speak for other territories, but in the UK every new release is way more expensive digital than it is physical. I would probably get way more games as a download if that wasn't the case.
They're not more expensive in Canada, but we already have a shit dollar so it's $80 for both.
Here the standard edition is 200SEK more on PSN than physical, that is about $22. But the ultimate edition is only $11 more for some reason. But still, imagine paying $11 more to get neither a map nor a steelbook
Huh, I preordered the standard edition for 600 SEK at webhallen because the ultimate edition was close to 1200 SEK - you mean the digital version of the ultimate edition is that cheap in comparison?
