Just cause the game is slow doesn't mean that's what people find boring
I don't really understand the crime system. I stopped a train in the middle of nowhere, while wearing a mask, and in the process of killing the guards, CRIME REPORTED. So the lawmen showed up and I got a $250 bounty.
I lost count of the number of times I by accident bump into a ped by my horse and turns into a full out town shootout. I've had some pretty infuriating things happen to me the past serveral hours of playing. My first horse was just straight up killed without me having the chance to revive him when there was a mission that concerned talking to a station master and involving a train, I guess since Rockstar didn't want you to have to wait hours for a train to arrive they would just straight up spawn it off screen and have it roll in as the dialogue was ending, I'm pretty sure your horse is smart enough to move out of the way of a train pulling into station but I just came out the station to a dead horse. Another moment I come across a cabin in the woods with a person I could greet, I had a perfect elk pelt on my shoulder as my horse was full. Talked to the guy and cutscene prompted, straight up deleted my pelt, I couldn't find it in my horses bag, my bag, all the tabs. Went hunting again, had a legendary animal pelt, I still haven't used the train ticket fast travel thing at all, so I guess it's my fault for being ignorant on this part but I wanted to get this legendary pelt from Valentine to St. Dennis and I'd assume I would have to buy a ticket and then board the train, nope. Moment you buy the ticket, cutscene to loading screen, upside to that is that the game sees you abandoned it but the trappers/fences will still get the pelt, you just lose out of the chance of selling..
Alot of small things that really annoyed me but despite all of that, all the fun I'm having playing the game is overshadowing it. I think I've spent like 80 percent of my time hunting rather then playing actual missions..
It took me far too long to realize I can hold B down to exit straight to the game from the compendium rather than going back out of every menu.
Same. I put on the full mask well outside of town before robbing the backroom of Valentine's medical shop, but once the killing started, I immediately got a bounty on my head, which stuck with me until I paid it off an in-game day or so later. Noticed it happening doing other shit, too, like knocking down wagons and passersby, despite being 100% sure I was wearing my mask. Kind of deters me from trying anything fun.
Nope, the mask just seems to be pointless, tried to rob a bank in a random town I took a train to, the thing didn't do anything
Ran into a neat event randomly. Non story related spoilers.

I expected them to be cannibals and them trying to eat me if I kept drinking but I went with it anyway to see what will happen
This is one of my new all-time favorite games holy fucking shit I don't wanna go to WORK.
Hey so been playing for a couple hours now. Do the NPCs even have schedules, I try to loiter around at night hoping to rob houses but every home on the map seem to be empty.
Also body decomposition is really cool.
Lenny!
Double tap the holster gun button to twirl it before holstering it
There are so many little details/tricks in this game. You can also use the same "draw to dead eye" mechanic that you use in duels anywhere. When your gun is holstered just slightly hold R2 and the meter will start filling, then fully push it down to draw and go straight to dead eye.
Man, as a person who literally has not used a controller for 10 years, I didn't expect a console game involving shooting and fairly precise controls to suck me in but god damn I've played this game for 8 hours today and would still be playing it if I didn't have shit to do. Rock on Rockstar, holy shit.
Any ideas what happened here

Crime system continues to confound me. Robbed the doctor, got a $6.50 bounty for disturbing the peace, given no chance to surrender, tried to flee, a pursuing lawman reports his own murder and raises my bounty.
Trying to escape the O'Discalls was the worst fucking mission so far. Fucking christ. I ended up skipping the damn checkpoint because I just kept dying for bullshit reasons. How the fuck am I supposed to make it back to camp with NO guns, NO medical supplies, damn near fucking NO health, horses that get scared to shit from gunfire, and HUNDREDS of the fuckers swarming me in a nanosecond because I sneezed in their general direction?
I tried to recreate the Savvy Merchant outfit from the first game since it was my favorite outfit but man it feels weird dressed like that since Arthur comes across as a rugged cowboy thug type so I feel inclined to dress him as such
MAJOR STORY SPOILER: HOLY FUCK NO SEAN ;__;
I accidentally ran over a cat in RDR2
☹️
i bet you got a three star pelt from it though right?
Just got shot up for disturbing the peace.
All I did was say "hey moron" to an elderly woman...
The most infuriating thing just happened to me and it was due to using an incorrect and fucking stupid control scheme.
I go for picking up a dead body on some side thing, go outside, someone sees me, calls out to the Law, they're on me in now time, I drop the body and press A to run, only on the "Standard FPS" scheme, A is to fucking crouch, now someone tell me, in what god damn universe is it standard for A to be to pissing crouch down?
He went into fucking Chimp mode in how he looked and barely moved that fast, I'm pressing left click to get him to stand the fuck up but obviously, wrong scheme, you see that button is to sprint, now that is standard, but sprinting and being crouched isn't really something that works.
Nearly shoved my head through a fucking wall, it was annoying enough but when I saw the wrong scheme was set, I was eyeing up a wall for my head to pierce.
No I just ran off because I was being chased
Hint for looting homes: check the fireplaces. Lots of good shit is hidden in those.
My older brother found this; but I've yet to test it myself.

(Side note: Wow I didn't know the forum would just embed Reddit in my post. My mind was blown).
Regarding the PC version of RDR2, it looks like a guy on GTAF has found information in the companion app for RDR2.

Red Dead Redemption 2 Companion App Files Hint at PC Version (An article about it if you prefer reading that instead of a post).
Not really a surprise.
It's annoying that a witness goes off running to report suspicious activity of me....simply getting off my horse in town. What the fuck.
I remember getting wanted because I was shooting deer in the middle of a forest.
Never got a bounty but it made me go .
I've learned to never hunt near well traveled roads. The people travelling them assume that you're shooting at them for some reason, even when your back is totally turned to them.
It's easy for me.
If I find out they report me I shoot them in the head with a repeater from 500 feet away and get the fuck out of there before a bounty.
