you have to buy through the ledger
Knocked Mr.Marston of his horse yesterday by accident https://files.facepunch.com/forum/upload/109685/67f05c56-ecaf-490c-a486-7fb3a3c42a25/Upload Studio 1.mp4
My biggest complaint about this game so far, and it really annoys me more than it should, is that Arthur's idea of smoking is taking a single drag and throwing the entire thing away. I really want to complete my eastwood lookalike and ride around in my poncho smoking a cigar all day. Muttering through conversations with a burning cig in your mouth. I really hope a update teaches arthur not to waste cigs like this.
So basically you are all telling me that the safest way to play this game is to roleplay Arthur as an anti-social silent person
Real men use up a cig in one draw. Btw you can tie your horse to trees. Doesn't show an animation but the horse stays.
What's your honor? Mine's like 65% and i've never had these problems. By the way, if you're only caught disturbing the peace you can most of the time talk to the lawman and defuse the situation and he'll tell you to fuck off without getting a bounty.
This game becomes a slideshow on the standard ps4 in the middle of townships.
You got a poncho?
So guys, what are you favorite weapons to use? I love my dual Schofields, even though I mostly just use one of them. Both heavily customized, one silver, one nickel. Don't need no rifles.
My horse died and I didn't even see it happen. I was attacked by Lemoyne Raiders and got a $30 bounty for murder, on the industrial part of a city and foolishly ran into the city. I ditched my horse and ran down some alleys before hitting a dead end. I didn't want to shoot my way out because I didn't want to have to pay another big bounty, so mad a dash for it and got shot. When I respawned, there was only a saddle left feel like pure shit just want Kevin back
It's really something to go back to RDR1 now and looking at the old character models in the old engine. It's crazy what 8 years has done in terms of graphics. Not that RDR1 looks bad, it's actually held up really well, but just damn. https://files.facepunch.com/forum/upload/110384/605dcac9-3d23-40ff-a951-8e5bc5bdcea7/image.png
Bumped into a guy and he ran off to report me for disturbing the peace, lucky for me he ran in front of a train.
Damn, I love all the different customization options for the outfits in this game. Arthur looks pretty cool in a vest. https://prod-cdnugc-rockstargames.akamaized.net/ugc/rdr2photo/Qr6JNcMVD0maerijeRTokQ/0_0.jpg
Going to try and do some robbery in general stores later i already know that I need my mask, different clothes , gun , horse etc what happens if you kill the store owner, does a new one take over? Surely it can’t be shut forever who has tested this?
damn i wonder if that was changed in a recent patch or something, because I was able to get provisions up to gold just from bringing in meat when i first upgraded it
They come back the following day or so. Also has a neat detail where if you shoot them in the head, they come back with a bandage wrapped around their head, and if you shoot off their leg, they'll be replaced with a wooden leg.
I think you can't really kill store owners. They seem to reappear a few days later with bandages and give you shit for what you've done. Atleast that's what I've heard, haven't tried it yet. How the hell do you start proper bar fights? I tried antagonizing people in Van Horn's saloon. And it sure starts a fist fight, but then suddenly everyone draws their gun on me and I get turned into swiss cheese.
Ok i will shoot both legs and arms so they are stubs

This game has a serious issue with escalation of force that makes robbery and stuff feel frustrating and inauthentic. It feels like every other NPC whips out a gun and starts shooting when hassled in any way. Even GTA wasn't this bad about it.
Yeah, I have yet to be able to rob anyone on the road. Every time I pull my gun out, they just start shooting me. What am I doing wrong?
I really like how being loaded doesn't really impact gameplay much at all. Sure I can buy some neat shit but it doesn't help much in general since most upgrades are behind hunting stuff.
As I was playing I realized I hadn't ever seen Sadie in the camp until she was involved in a mission in Chapter 3, and that's since she was seen in the Prologue. This led to me realizing that beyond their involvement in side missions, I also hadn't seen Abigail or Jack, and occasionally John in the camp since Chapter 2 started. More info below - basically if you do Uncle's mission first in Chapter 2, they might just straight up disappear until either the start or end of Chapter 4. It doesn't seem to lock you out of any important missions or their involvement in main story quests (maybe just the collection requests they have) but it sucks since I like exploring the camp and catching up with everyone and now I realize I've been missing out on interactions. I think I'm midway through Chapter 3, so I don't think it's worth replaying through just for camp antics but it's still slightly annoying. https://old.reddit.com/r/reddeadredemption/comments/9svl1a/huge_game_breaking_bug_read_before_playing_game/
I saw John around infrequently but Abigail, Sadie, and Jack were totally absent for me as well. I was really surprised when Sadie appeared on a story mission because I completely forgot who she was at first. They reappeared in camp at the start of Chapter 4 for me.
I guess I must have done things right since they never vanished for me.
I'm glad I haven't had that bug. Sadie is probably my favourite character, and Jack, John, and Abigail are great characters.
I think I found my favorite piece of music in the game thus far. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BdUpiBP0pw0 Not included is how sneaking makes the violin go into little plucks on a loop (like those last seconds) and then fade away entirely for cutscenes. The music in this game is properly astonishing. Besides exploration tracks, I don't think I've heard the same music used twice.
Huh, I haven't spent much time in camp but that would explain me not seeing abigail or jack that much. I can't remember which one sadie is though lol
Yeah the dynamic music is fucking great, makes it feel even more like a movie. That song was really memorable for me too.
Shes's the girl you save in Chapter 1, in like the first 30-40 minutes.
