Just preordered the game for 9,99€ after handing in my PS4 copy of Far Cry 5 (finished it and own it on PC aswell) and my Wii U Pro controller which I never used. Getting really hyped for this game!
You know licensed music just ends up getting removed from the game 10 years down the line like with San Andreas? I'm glad they didn't stick to licensed music.
It's either this or God of War. It's going to be a tight fucking call.
ya'll fellas forgetting KCD came out this year
Sadly its too eurojank for that
So I should 100% pre order this before Fallout, right?
As much as i want this game, i can't justify buying a console specifically for it. Hopefully they'll eventually port it to PC unlike what they did with RDR 1.
I have a PS4 pro but I’ve already pre ordered RDR2 on my original Xbox one. ive gone all out in this one, ultimate addition and collectors box. It just seems right, I’ve been waiting so long, I want the full experience. booked the day off work and everything. im so ready!!
Should've seen if you can take the day after off unless you got a good connection for RDR2. Otherwise most of your day will be spent staring down and waiting for it to install.
already thought of that, going to go midnight launch. hopefully by the time I wake up it’s all installed
Smart man!
EB Games near my house is foregoing a midnight launch in favour of letting pre-orderers pick their copy up at 9 pm on the 25th, which is a pleasant change. I suspect its because the employees want to go home as soon as possible and play it themselves.
So yuno if your horse dies, it’s gone. what do you think will happen if your pre order bonus horse dies
It''ll probably respawn at a stable. would be pretty silly if you spent more money for the pre order and the horse ended up dying only to never to use it again.
I'm assuming digital pre orders can pre-load 2 days before release
I traded in my PS4 and got a Pro for this game and have taken off the entire weekend to play it They can indeed, at least on PS. Not sure about xbone
After a lot of thinking, I decided to skip Red Dead Redemption 2 for the near future. It's not that I lost interest in the game, far from it, but buying the PS4 version on or near release day would mean spending a whooping €70 (roughly $80,32) for the base game alone (no collector's/special edition or anything of the sort, of course). Plus, I'd also had to put into account purchasing a future Playstation Plus subscription, and, thus, spending more money down the line. Plus, this is a busy month for new gaming releases, so I may as well spend my money elsewhere, for the moment
im about to buy a ps4 just for this
If it never comes to PC, then yeah this is a great idea. This games gonna rock.
I'm still going to wait on buying it because Take-Two is part of it and we know exactly what happened to GTAV.
I only play SP, so I really don't care what they do to the MP.
make sure to check out other ps4 exclusives meh, i can wait just like i did with RDR1. Then, i'll just pick up RDR 2 with all the DLC and a PS4 for cheap.
I've been on the fence about getting a ps4 pro but there's a real good bundle for one that comes with RDR2 that I'm probably going to get. I'm also worried its going to run like shit on a normal ps4 like most games that come out now.
Enjoy no SP updates then.
I'm assuming the game won't be discounted during Black Friday. I was waiting till then to purchase it, but if it's gonna be $60 no matter what then I'll either get it around release or wait a few months until it gets cheaper. Unless they decide to never put it on sale like GTAV. That would suck.
I had a ps4 like, two years ago. It broke, smashed to pieces when my TV stand fell apart(God knows how the TV survived without even a tiny scratch) Upon seeing God Of War, Spiderman, and Red Dead Redemption 2 come out in one year, I realized I needed to get my PS4 back. I sold a bunch of crap that was just cluttering up my home, some old broken but workable phones. I now have a PS4 Pro without having had to spend much money, and am just dying to play RDR2.
I'd love to get a PS4 Pro for this for the best visual fidelity and performance, but I really can't spare the cash, and really don't want to sell my current PS4 either because it still has P.T. installed which I really don't want to let go of anytime soon, so I'll most likely get it on PS4 first then play it again on PC the second time whenever that comes out.
Ok, that's fine. The base game seems to have enough content.
God damnit. I hyped myself up too much since I preordered and now I'm already counting the days and watching Western movies to get into the right mood. ~15 days can't go by quick enough.
i'm really eager to find out how hunting with bow'n arrow "feels like" in that game.
