this isn't the case in GGXrd where it only serves for the lobbies and the fishing gallery iirc
Xrd still has proper menus
Does anyone know if Ultimate will be able to be played on split joycons? I have two pairs which I hope would let 4 people play. I also have not played any smash before so I don’t know how many buttons it usually requires.
If Brawl can be played with a Wiimote, Ultimate definitely can be played with a single Joy-Con. It only needs 3 buttons (Shield, A and B) as Grab can be performed by holding shield and pressing A.
It was made by the GG team (Team Red).
If it were Smash 4, it would be faster to physically run around the menu than to navigate the interface.
Does BlazBlue have a hub world like that? Team Blue's schtick is that their games use 2D assets instead, so I can't imagine them putting a 3D-modeled hub world in a game that otherwise sticks to hand-drawn sprites.
Cross Tag Battle does.

Ah yeah, that weird crossover one that crams a bunch of totally unrelated series together...
yeah..... where have I seen that before
Heh, yeah, I guess that's a odd thing to say in the Smash thread. Still, BlazBlue was already its own series with actual lore (damn complicated lore) and such, and it's not like this was a "neutral ground" game like Smash or PSASBR.
also the 2 blazblue games before crosstag had HUB lobbies too. they were just 2d instead.
Did they? We're talking about Chronophantasma and Central Fiction, right?
I really hope not. I hated it in FighterZ, I just want quick and sleek menues to navigate through instead of walking around with limited playerbase per lobby.
Someone's absolutely going to turn up with one of these to a competition and win.

excuse the question but are the dk bongos compatible with other games through hackery and if yes, legal?
They don't even require hackery, it's just a controller with 4 inputs that corresond to the A button, B Button and a shoulder button I believe.
Button input works fine, you just can't move at all.

I have bad news, due to all the fake leaks upsetting sakurai he has decided to cut pikachu
Shit, is he bleeding?
Cut into pieces.
This was his last resort.
Nono it's fine. Cut only has a power of 50 so Pikachu is fine.
chronophantasma: extend, to be specific. which was like an "ultra edition" version of the game. CP didn't have it, but CP:EX & CF did.
I come back to this thread and all I see is anime
The writing has been on the wall for years.

A game where Marvel and Capcom characters fight each other? What's next, you're going to tell me that there is a handheld strategy game featuring Sega, Capcom and Namco IPs and they just slap Shulk from Nintendo in there for good measure?
Er, I think you're swerving off into a completely different direction... ?
