Can EA just fuck off already? Every time it seems like they're about make something good they have to fuck it up.

Don't really need an article to tell us that it was a bad deal
The major releases we have gotten in 6 years from EA are: Battlefront 1 Battlefront 2 In 6 years previously, we have gotten: Rogue Squadron II Rogue Squadron III Battlefront Battlefront 2 KOTOR KOTOR 2 Lego SW Lego SW 2 Lego SW CS Jedi Knight II: Jedi Outcast Jedi Knight: Jedi Academy Republic Commando
We should remember none of these games was created by LucasArts.
Republic Commando was.
published through activision
What was?
worldwide/EU releases for a lot of the lucasarts games
Honestly they need to remake LucasArts and have them be an intermediary between several developers - such as Bioware/Other EA companies, and Activision or whatever company they think can make a good game. LucasArts could be the one to keep quality and approve lore decisions while the individual teams just use the skills they have to make the best game they can. I just want another Jedi Knight game and SWG 2.0. That second one will never happen, but I can dream.
Why not just play one of the Emulators out there
I want a new MMO that builds off the successes of the original, without its shortfalls and in a newer-than-2003-engine. And I do play one of the emulators, but it's really just about what I'd like to see from new games.
Stardust SWG seemed like it was adding custom content
SWG Legends has also been adding some custom content. Not a lot, small things.
I'm replaying The Old Republic here and there and I have to say once again how good the Imperial agent story is. It's pretty clear that it was the only class story where the developers had free reign, and damn if it shows. It could had even been a great roleplaying videogame by itself. I'm also starting to seriously revaluate the Jedi consular story, but that may be due to the peculiar way I'm roleplaying my character. A dark Jedi consular not getting any flak from his beavhiour from major NPCs is still kinda jarring, especially if you have played the Jedi knight and Sith warrior class stories, where allignment has a certain role in the narrative
IIRC it was also the story they showed off to press in Pre-release previews.
I want a game that is like Ace Combat, but Star Wars.
It really sucks because that project that was cancelled was pretty much exactly the kind of game I'd write in on a star wars wishlist. Open world bounty hunter RPG. I'd also like Shadow of Mauldor still

Looks like Dooku was built to fight other lightsaber users in BFII given his abilities. I don't see them useful against standard units.
Regarding Dooku Pictures https://files.facepunch.com/forum/upload/108621/f075fe1c-889d-470d-803f-c4b997cd0d48/image.png
Wait, what revamped skins? Armored officers?
I don't know if armoured officers are next month, but the canon-correct paint jobs are.
clarification on Dooku's blocking https://files.facepunch.com/forum/upload/108621/50d3ee67-f7b8-476e-85e0-9d3d253e37e7/image.png
Why do none of theses new heros come with ships? Souless one for Grievous, delta-7 aethersprite for Obi Wan. Dooku's ship wouldn't work, but jango's slave one would be easy to do. Why doesn't space combat get some love?

so good
Christopher Lee being immortalized in a game is definitely something I enjoy the most
