Doesn't help the advertising was a massive bait and switch, omitting a massive chunk of the campaign to appear wholly Empire loyal. Still wish we got that.
The game either ends with you dying, or somehow escaping from the Empire.

I'd be extremely cautious towards looking towards different karmic endings in Jedi: Fallen Order, because the Star Wars videogames have a long tradition of light side versus dark side ending mainly boiling down to "You are a hero and deserve a happy ending" versus "You are such a asshole and need to suffer"
I think the Jedi Knight series did Dark Side endings well.
They did, but with the caveat that the light side path is The True Canon Ending™. I imagine that would probably be the same case with Fallen Order's story.
I don't think any game has ever had the Dark Side ending as canon.

Though that ending raising some interesting questions. How did Kyle defeat the New Republic? Did he just take over the Imperial Remnant and organize them into a fighting force?
Maybe he pulled them into the Unknown Regions and there built up enough resources and military might, and then ~~blew up the Republic capital with a planet-destroying superweapon~~
Halo also probably took power from the Valley of the Jedi now that I think about it.
Yeah, they hype up the power of the Valley quite a bit. "The eradication of life from a star system, in a whisper," I believe it was described. You'd be your own personal Death Star, who could oppose you?

Current rumor is the MC will be played by Cameron Monoghan, most well known for playing Jerome/The Joker in Gotham. Itd make him the second Joker in Star Wars

Releasing this year? That's a quick turnaround from last years, "Ah, we don't really have anything yet." I guess that might be what it looks like when you don't have to create a huge open world or don't fuck around for 5 years before deciding what kind of game to make.
They said last year it would be releasing this year. That isn’t news.
Also it’s been in development since 2016.
Mid November is pretty much a given. Battlefield 5 was mid November, 3 and 4 were just before November, Battlefront 1 and 2 were mid November, Sims 4 was mid November for consoles, Dragon Age was November, Inquisition was mid November. Seems on point to me for this to drop mid November
