that's $45 of gametime and $20 of premium currency for $40. it also includes the swoop bike from kotor as a mount.
what happens if i go from premium down to preferred regarding things like quickbars or character slots. what happens if i'm using 6 quickbars or i have more than 12 characters made? do i just lose access to them or do i get to keep the ones i've already made/using?
I'm not sure about quickbars cuz I personally dont use a lot, but for characters it lets you keep them and choose which ones to "activate". The ones you don't activate won't be deleted, but they won't be playable until you raise your character cap either through purchases or subscriptions
the character cap is pretty large by default IIRC.
i'm looking it up and it's 4 characters free, 12 for preferred, and 24 for sub. i'm probably not going to use all 12 character slots unless i get really addicted to this game, but i doubt it.
I have a problem where I keep making new characters when previous ones arent even finished it's probably best if you have the will to focus on a single character
i already have new character-itis. i was going to make a sith assassin but the race i wanted to make was locked, so i ended up ust making a human commando for now.
https://www.eurogamer.net/articles/2019-04-15-amy-hennig-reacts-to-jedi-fallen-order-announce-reveals-more-of-cancelled-single-player-star-wars-game-ragtag "[It's] odd!" Hennig told Eurogamer. "I have to be candid with you. I mean, it's coming from the EA Star Wars Twitter handle, so it's certainly part of the plan, but I don't know whether it's implicitly referencing previous comments they made after our project was killed? "There is so much change in this industry all the time. Over the course of my time at EA, we were back and forth on what the overall publishing corporation wanted. Everybody's trying to figure out what the right path is. I also think Respawn's game has the benefit of being largely developed before they were acquired. It is a protected entity, and Vince [Zampella] makes very sure - because he's part of the executive team at EA, he can protect the interests of Respawn. "This is all speculation on my part, I don't know why the change of heart happened, because that was very clearly not an acceptable plan when we were working on Ragtag! But you know, things change. [The decision to cancel Ragtag] was made in summer 2017. We found out in October 2017. So that's almost two years ago, and a lot has changed in that time, and there's been a pretty public and vocal backlash against the idea gamers don't want single-player finite games without all these extra modes. Of course they do, of course we do. So maybe this is just a demonstration of a change of strategy for EA. "And you've got to understand there's been huge changes in management there since all of this happened as well. Both Patrick Soderlund and Jade Raymond have left in the meantime, and Laura Miele, who was the franchise general manager for Star Wars when I joined, is now in Patrick's role. So I don't have any insider knowledge, but there's a lot of reasons they could have adopted a new attitude for this. And I'm glad for Respawn's sake, because I'm excited about their game, and I've heard great things about it." (I did have to chuckle the first time I saw EA emphasising "singleplayer only, no multiplayer, no microtransactions" considering everything they've been doing beforehand.)

I can't even subscribe to SWTOR, the one-time password email never sends and the EA Live chat never starts for support.
the last point on endor can get pretty nutty, especially with fast spawn enabled. https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/203993081530417152/568981590437265409/wew.png
That's incredibly odd, maybe an extension problem? Have you tried going through Origin?

This update also added an appropriate Clone Wars era version of the E-Web https://files.facepunch.com/forum/upload/108621/b0cd75b0-9540-435b-8478-af503ca5e64e/image.png
Not sure when they did this, but all the victory poses have names now. It wasn't that way at launch, so that's sometime in the last 17 months https://files.facepunch.com/forum/upload/108621/3d5a9285-911e-404c-99b7-58c15b119285/image.png
New map is fun. Very familiar, yet fresh at the same time. It's nice to have something that isn't Geonosis to play on. UI looks a lot more crisp as well.
Glad you like it! The UI designer has changed a lot of stuff to make it more readable, so you shouldn't be getting issues like on for example hoth where you can't read the text. It took a while to get used to how far apart the command posts were on Kashyyyk, but all the more reasons to use speeders I guess. Had some performance issues with my computer so I couldn't really play yesterday, even on Geonosis.
They've been named for quite some time now. When I played intensively back in september they were all named.
While I have you, is there any plans to fix the atrocious speeder controls?
I've complained about them a lot too, I really hate how they control. It was being looked into, that's all I know really. But I'll bring it up again if I can. I don't know if you play on console or PC but I think they work slightly better on controller than mouse and keyboard. One (small) workaround I found was to not lift my mouse at all while controlling the speeder and just keep it in the direction I want to go. I know it's not optimal but maybe it helps someone until they (hopefully) get changed.
Speeders really work more comfortably on a controller than mouse and keyboard. You'll have an easier time aiming with a controller since you only have to hold the thumbstick a direction, while on M+KB you have to constantly readjust your mouse as it recenters your aim.
I think they should handle more like the Crait speeders where the retical is free look. The main issue comes from the fact that the crosshairs on speeders are latch based, meaning that they return to the center point when not touched. This is near impossible to control with a mouse.
I thought this interesting, he hasn't played the game, or even posted any BF2 content since November 2017, so it was interesting to see his perspective https://youtu.be/9S-DzAnmgTE
