My favorites are definitely Smuggler and Agent respectively, as well as Warrior and Knight on either coin. I like how Knight interacts with the force in his story line, and I think LightSide Warrior is just a blast. I was surprised that the way I wanted my story to go actually happened and he's been my main (when I still played). Agent will always be the best though.
Hey, if the future "expansions" will allow your character to choose his/her own faction freely, regardless of the already enstablished faction dynamic, then I may as well play a dark side Sith Warrior sticking to the Empire and then a light side Imperial Agent defecting to the Republic. Problem solved. Amusingly enough, the latter is a narrative option you can indeed pursue with your agent, and it had constant references even in the most recently released content
So here's something pretty interesting, In the original Star Wars Battlefront 2 Ki-Adi-Mundi had voice lines shipped with the game but they were never played in a match. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VAJZ3hsN86U Apparently Pandemic pulled a Gearbox: Colonial Marines 8 years prior, and the dialogue was broken due to a spelling error in the original .lvl files and a modder recently restored functionality to the lines and some others as well. Ki-Adi-Mundi Sound Fix file - Star Wars Battlefront II - Mod DB Who knew that the original battlefront 2 was rushed and is still better than the new one?
OG battlefront 2 being released less than a year after the first and still pulling off what they did is nothing short of amazing
If they did that today people would complain that it wasn't DLC or something.
Stop make assumptions about nowadays gaming community just to add fake value to your, shall we say, peculiar opinions about Star Wars: Battlefront II (2017), Tuskin
Stop pulling shit out of nothing
Wait WHAT?
I haven't defended BF2 since it launched.
they've already had this for almost a year if not already a year
Care to explain that? I'm genuinely curious, that's all
War for Iokath starts the storyline back with a new republic-empire war, and lets you choose who to support regardless of class, which actually changes your side and the upcoming storyline is said that it will have an even bigger effect. You'll have to beat all the Kotet chapters to get to this point ofc, but it's still an actual defection. I have a republic sith inquisitor. They've even began to change the way factions work to reflect this, now you can queue for either side in pvp for example. I still haven't finished my agent that took the story choice to be a double agent, so I'm not sure if it comes up when presented with this choice but I bet it does.
I had no idea that choice actually mattered.
it kind of immediately matters though it decides whether or not you kill Jace Malcolm or Empress Acina, and keeps you from getting Malavai or Elara depending on the choice it also changes dialogue in the Traitor among the Chiss flashpoint, and a myriad of choices including that one I think changes the final fight of the traitor arc. regardless, they've written in the descriptions of the next storyline with the jedi and sith that it'll have impacts there too
To little ol me it felt like an eternity, but man the first one was that good. Unless this is the 2017 BFII you're talking about
They did say OG
https://www.reddit.com/r/StarWarsBattlefront/comments/9lml8n/grievous_arrives_october_30th/ Lol go figure. You may as well just say November
That would be a lie though /s
see you christmas day 2019 for anakin
Christmas Day 2019 Anakin and "We've heard you wanted new weapons, here, you can select which default weapon you want from any faction"

That's the full robe from Knights of the Old Republic you can create and equip on the Star Forge if your character is light-sided. I can't remember if the light side version of said robe was in the vanilla game to begin with or it was added via mods (as far as I know, you can create a perfect replica of Darth Revan robe on the Star Forge only if your character is dark-sided, but I can't remember if you are given a similar option if light-sided)
Man imagine if EA put as much effort into a AAA game as they did a game full of microtransactions BF2 would be a good game, just goes to show you where their effort lies
the secret puzzle link that leads to this trailer is an anagram of "Jedi Revan"
Fairly certain that robe was base game. Even if it was a pretty low effort retexture of the regular dark side ones. Fuck, now I want to replay KOTOR... again.
It’s definitely base. It’s only equippable as max light, same as Revan armor is max dark one of my SWTOR chars has a dyed Revan armor to look similar
This was the mod I was talking about. The workshop has a ton of Clone Wars mods but the only ones you need to focus on are Republic at War and the submod for said mod, along with Z3rox's mod and Clone Wars 4.0. I have NO clue where to find my Superfreighter but all the ones here are just great in graphical quality and gameplay. CIS feels OP though and the game crashes when building Grievous' Magnaguards. https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1129810972 https://i.imgur.com/ygySwuh.jpg

He's bigger than Vader.
