Conquest Marker!
So if all goes to plan, the first Community Transmission for Geonosis will be in the first week of November https://files.facepunch.com/forum/upload/108621/d448a723-e895-49bc-a862-04ca6d353347/image.png

Wait, so when he comes out you have to unlock him or is this the thing during a match where you need to be top of your game with the best scores in order to play him for a round? Either I missed something or if the prerequisites hiked up but 35,000 credits seems a lot and I plan on renting the game for not a whole month.
You need to buy him with Credits.

Welp
Wouldn't be a hero without a broken ability
I don't know how accurate this is, but at least 1000 players have been on in the last 6 hours. but the grievous update did just hit, so BattlefrontStats.com
So are we just never getting new weapons?
pretty much said no to new weapons and new starcards forever
You know, as much flack as I give them for this game, and how little content we truly have, it's kind of crazy how much effort goes into making the heroes. I love how they future-proofed him with lines for Ahsoka and Padme. Not sure we'll ever actually get them, though.
Tried out new Maul, played team battle arcade 100 on expert and managed to get ~90 kills and end at full health I really like this because now it's more rewarding for using Maul as intended, the aggressive guerrilla/genji tactics are more viable because you're less likely to be widdled down even with successful execution
Since The Old Republic has been brought up again, I'm currently levelling a Sith warrior every once in a while. I'd also like to level up a smuggler in order to have access to both side of the game's narrative coin and fully enjoy the future narrative updates (unless I'll get bored, in which case I'll just roll an Imperial agent and call it a day). I've been in the game since launch, but I'm returning from a long hyatus and this is the first time I've been levelling a character since the huge revamp they did to the levelling experience in the two previous expansions, and holy shit if they simplified and sped-up the whole process a great deal. To be more precise: As a default option for all players, you are only offered your own class and planetary arc quests (plus a side quest or two along), and they award huge chunks of experience Your companions' stats are now determined by their level alone, so they are severely overpowered, even in comparison to your own character Travel routes for each planets are automatically unlocked upon landing for the first time Some quest givers have been moved to more accessible locations and some quests have been redesigned to be more straightforward Plus, they came up with a truckload of quality of life improvements and removed several padding elements plaguing the game since launch. I'm playing as a preferred player (as to say, someone who at some point spent some money on the game) and my character is levelling up as a nice pace and without much obstacles, to the point I may as well feel like a proper subscriber. You could say that perhaps the levelling process has been made far too easy for the players' own good, though
what do you mean
Companions are way overpowered, since you can do master mode flashpoints solo (just with companion).
Do you have video of you doing this
Finally got the max rating saberstaff for my main until the next update adds a new tier

Where's my "I have the high ground" emote.
I'm not talking about content in general. I'm talking about the game's levelling experience, which takes place between level 1-50 and the beginning and the finale of the character's own class quest (between Rise of the Hutt Cartel and Knights of the Eternal Throne they raised the level cap to 70, but you recive so damn much experience for everything during said content and little to zero new abilities are introduced that, as far as I'm concerned, once you hit level 50 the levelling process is over). First of all, you recive far too much experience for doing the bare minimum of quests on each planet. Back in the days, as a preferred player, I had to complete every quest I came across only to achieve an optimal level range for my current content. Now I only need to clear the planetary class and local arc questlines. I don't even need to bother with heroics, bonus series and the majority of side quests. And yes, they introduced level scaling too, but said scaling works extremely poorly (it doesn't take into account item level and abilities, for starters). For reference, my warrior has just arrived on Alderaan and is around level 32, which is the planet's level cap. Second, yes, during the levelling experience companions are overpowered. For reference, I'm playing as a vengeful Sith juggernaut, which, for all intents and purpose, is supposed to be a heavy bursts-oriented melee dps with some added survivability. Well, I've been with Vette in dps configuration as soon as I acquired her and she basically two-shoots mobs regardless of level. Like, she kills them so quickly I don't even have enough time to get my rotation going on the targets. Hell, she can even solo elite enemies. Regardless of level, Vette dishes out an amount of damage I can only dream of. Now, I can understand why they would sped-up the levelling process and tweak companions a great deal: both new and returning players just want to enjoy their class content and go straight to the later expansions' storylines, plus companions in the vanilla game were downright useless if not constantly geared up along with the player. But turning everything into a snoozefest doesn't exactly teach players how to handle their character well in later and/or more challenging content
Wait til you hit CXP lol personally I wear a lot of xp boosts and try my best to avoid having to start RoTHC and SoR at all costs. i think hitting xp cap quickly is a positive. Especially since you immediately shift to cxp which I have yet to actually hit the number cap for on anyone.
Grievous having his hilarious looking crawl as an ability is so good. https://files.facepunch.com/forum/upload/205958/df815085-94a3-4c07-9a6e-938d38436bec/OH LAWD HE COMIN.mp4 (source)
