Did you actively ignore the following sentence after that statement? Of course people play 2cities only for the rewards.
Also, are you actually trying to tell me *everyone* does that? Your average MvM player - knows about this tactic, and does it? You really think your average MvM player - and I am not talking late MvM where people just farm, but when 2Cities was, say, a month old, always did this? No way dude. These are the same kind of people that would buy the Mini-Sentry upgrade for Engineer.
Also that just means the community modes didn't execute it properly. It would be an entirely different things if there were rewards under the belt alongside of proper balancing.
We simply share two entirely different perspectives, and as you said, we'll just have to agree to disagree. Not like the TF Team will pick MvM up ever again, eh?
I think it'd be cool if each section of the wave could randomize from a set.
A "sectional" rewrite of MvM would also open the possibility of an endurance mode of infinite MvM. MvM rewards could be given out based on how long you've been fighting, etc.
Yeah, but they're not gonna do it. At very VERY least they can do is just throw in a couple of new maps and make new australium weapons that would take about 30 minutes to design.
The very least they can do is nothing, which is pretty much how they've handled MvM for the last half decade.
Unpopular Opinion Saturday: Scout needs a global nerf. Either that or some of the anti-scout weapons need a serious buff that makes them do a much better job at countering the class intended. Preferably both.

If most of the anti-sniper weapons got a serious buff (read: there are none to begin with) then the class would be less of a no-counterplay meta definer in competitive, and also less of an overplayed team strength demolisher in casual.
There's plenty of counterplay with sniper. Don't peak sightlines, get close as fuck, and predict when they're about to fire. If you do all of these things than you can dodge most sniper fire, or at least reduce it down to 50 per when he's trying to go for quickscopes. Just predicting and dodging shots ay any range is enough to fuck with even the most skilled snipers, just look straight down and backwards whenever you think you're about to get shot/cross a sightline. Works miracles if you know how to hide your head/make it hard to hit.
There's also a reason scout is chosen for 6s as one of the main classes. Yes, partially map design of 5cp and koth, but he's also one of the best classes in game purely because of his almost unmatchable mobility and ability to deal insane damage at medium to close range.
Best way to counter a scout is staying away from him which he can easily overcome, and best way to counter a sniper is by staying out of sightlines .Only one of the two are fully in your control given if you know where they both are at all times.

Scout isn't that good. 6v6, 6s meta and 5CP maps give a huge advantage for the Scout. He can be destroyed pretty bad in more closed maps and by Engineers.

He can be easily destroyed by any class If the person doing so is not a bot. Landing 2-3 hits on someone is really not that hard

if a seasoned heavy player complains about scouts then surely he's talking about the good ones and not the run-in-a-line-and-die-repeatedly kind, so why mention it?
Do you think many TF2 maps bugging out when rocket or sticky jumping is a problem? Because if I would be a, let's say, Overwatch player and try out TF2, and see the map visuals break each time I explosive jump, it would kind of turn me off the game.

Here it is: I compiled an imgur album showcasing some of these, like I said, it's just visual, not really gameplay breaking. Also I used 1 sticky for most of these. Plus, sometimes the map objects pop in and out when explosive jumping.

probably because they exist to halt other classes. if you nerf them then everyone will just flock to soldier or heavy and itll spiral out of control from there.

I don't know about you, but last time I checked, Heavy is kept at bay by more classes than merely Sniper.
I only disagree with a scout nerf, purely because I can only imagine the nerfs people would love to throw on him haphazardly without any thought on how it'd effect the rest of the game.
The only potential nerf I can just barely agree on, is a health reduction to 110 or 100.
I only just barely agree on that cuz Scout's whole design is to dodge and weave through projectiles, using his speed and agility well to fight strong classes.
And personally I don't agree on being one-shot from spammed direct hit grenades or a point-blank panic rocket when Soldier and Demo are the strongest generalists already.
