the worst part is that blightcaller isn't even a fun character in any way, at least garrosh was batshit bonkers and seeing what his next crazy antic was, was at least enteraining. nathanos is boring, does literally nothing except slobber over his undead slut queen
Blizzard having favourite characters they'll shield from any harm isn't new, so this really shouldn't surprise me, but man... This guy has literally inserted himself into the game as a character that drools over Sylvanas, and in turn, Sylvanas adores said character. I get the feeling Sylvanas will not meet the fate she deserves once we approach the end of the expansion.
Probably not, but I have a feeling that at the very least she'll be losing her job by the end of the expansion.
Add to that the fact that Bitchcaller is just a douche all the time and treats you like a fucking errand boy. Like shit Blizzard maybe it'd be cool if you let us do cool shit instead of making us go out and kill 10 blokes while some prick has all the fun. And then you come back after killing your 10 blokes and Bumcuddler informs you that he fixed whatever the problem was while you were gone and then calls you a nerd and flushes your head down a toilet.
I wouldn't mind Blightcaller as much if he showed at least a modicum of respect for the PCs "Ugh do this thing and don't mess it up you bumbling buffoon" like, excuse me, BITCH, i don't care if you're skelefucking the banshee queen, i will body slam your edgy ass into the ground if you say shit like that to me ever again
They need to keep Blightcaller alive for when he eventually has to replace Sylvanas as leader of the Forsaken.
I wonder if the most recent PTR stuff is encrypted because blizzard got embarrassed by how much people hated the Darkshore shit
So the questline where you track down Saurfang is up on the PTR. In it, we find out in no uncertain terms that Sylvanas wants Saurfang dead, and that she considers dissent against her rule treason. You can watch it here. Spoilers, obviously.
This is literally what withVol'jin happened in mists. Dagger in the dark, I think?
Exactly. This is basically MoP all over again: we've got the faction-war, we've got discord within the factions, there's a threat from the Old Gods, and a new resource to collect (powers of the Sha in MoP, Azerite in BfA). I want of Mr. Blizzard's wild ride.
Ye but now the warchief is a SUPER HOT BABE and not some smelly gross orc so it'll be the same story but Sylvanas will win in the end. The final raid will end with us killing Anduin and then Nathanos flies in and tells the raid what a shitty job they did.
Blood elf heritage armour questline here. Again, spoilers, obviously. Also note that the heritage armour isn't actually in the game yet, so we still have no clue what it looks like. My guess (and hope) is that it'll resemble Spellbreaker armour.
I love you all, guys
fancy a cuppa
Did skinning get nerfed again? I'm getting a lot of grays
Spoilers for future old god related questlines So about the questline where you free Xal'atath from the blade of the black empire. Why is this hideous eldritch manifestation of the old gods just a ~hawt elf babe~ once she escapes the blade?. I get that there's the knaifu meme- but I got the impression that the seductive whispers shadow priests hear while wielding the weapon were supposed to be misleading- and that Xal'atath's true form would be something more appropriate for a being so terrible that she caused the metal of the blade she was imprisoned within to grow disgusting fleshy tumours and sprout bulging swivelling eyes. It feels like an opportunity for some cool horrible monster design wasted in the name of fan service tbh
The elf form is obviously not her true form, given the Old Gods predate elves by thousands of years. It's probably just some unlucky schmuk she took over because she's too weakened to assume her true appearance, or something she came up with to not call unwanted attention. Showing the full extent of her character in what amounts to a teaser storyline doesn't sound too smart to me; better she reveal her true powerlevel when she inevitably appears as a raid boss of the N'Zoth raid.
if we're going down the route of post legion artifacts Tyre might want his hand back from holy pallys and who knows those elves might want their stick back to grow another world tree maybe somewhere away from the catapults
They said on the latest Q&A that at least some allied races will be getting death knights with their own intros or at least they were talking about it matter of factly.
"We don't have any plans for it now, but that's definitely something we want to address in the future." So in other words, don't hold your breath.
I guess i see what you're saying. I took that as we will be getting those allied race death knights eventually but they won't be changing the wotlk starting area necessarily they'll instead be part of the allied races intro instead. Maybe i'm latching on the optimistic side of the answer. here's the link to the question for anyone else. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VoLgP6lUKnY&feature=youtu.be&t=2480
Are new Death Knights even made? It would make zero sense to have a Void Elf as a DK for example, they're a new(ish) race from after Arthas' time.
I'm sure they could probably get things working with Bolvar. I mean, they didn't introduce his daughter in BFA for no reason now did they?
DK Order Hall spoilers: the Ebon Blade did not hesitate to resurrect previously noteable dead characters in order to fill up the slots of the horsemen. with bolvar on the move it makes sense that they'd want more manpower to accomplish their goals, and if they didn't mind an attempt on resurrecting Tirion, then they definitely wouldn't mind resurrecting any would-be champions they come across in due time.
I'm not sure one could be a void elf and a death knight anyways given how they are quasi undead. they'd just be an elf deathknight.
I really want Death Knights to have new voice lines at some point. Demon Hunters really spoilt me by having an entirely different personality and jokes based on the class as opposed to the race.
I think bringing character back from the dead is lazy and dumb but Uther got brought back as a DK i'd shit my pants.
Would be crazy if Uther's spirit realized how authoritarian and menacing The Light really is and was like "get me outta this shit yo".
Maybe Blizzard shitting on Uther will be the final kick in the heartstrings I need to stop paying attention to the lore of this shitfest.
I don't see Uther being a DK but I think we will see his spirit come back at some point, especially since the light guys need reminding not to be evil. Plus he's never appeared in WoW even though he was a huge figure in WC3
