Apparently dungeon brackets have been shuffled a bit too? Someone told me TBC/WOTLK is now in the same level bracket, as is Cata/MOP. Because that would make me very happy.

there's like a 5-10 second time between when they mine/herb to when it dissappears so you can also use it. Before that phasing from cata meant that ore and herbs would disappear right in front of you

All sounds pretty legit to me, the Diablo 2 remaster is pretty much a given. Though if "Classic WoW will be subscription based" means it will be a separate subscription that pretty much kills any chance of me playing it.

I really hope the stuff about updating Silvermoon is true. Quel'thalas and the Eversong woods will always have a special place in my heart, and it's sad to see them abandoned forever in TBC.

ya I played through them not too long ago and the questing there specifically is completely dated, even outland has had some help over the years. the 4 tbc starting zones are like a time capsule to classic wow's questing experience.

Given the story accompanying the heritage questline for the blood elves, it does seem like a good time to finally update the areas. That said, I won't hold my breath: I really don't expect Blizzard to do much more than "just" making the areas part of the Azeroth overworld (whereas now they're actually part of Outland), thereby enabling flying, and updating the visuals in the cities.

I doubt it. I really, really doubt it. Making Classic servers a separate subscription would be such a colossally stupid move.

Blizzard aren't known for always making the right decisions straight away. Especially not when it comes to WoW.

I'd like to see the rough side of silvermoon given some attention. I always liked how you had the prosperous side of town on one side of the scar, and the more run down side full of crack fiend elves on the other side. Right now that side of silvermoon just looks like a big park filled with chavs, it should look more like a slum.

Don't ever let the guys of the Overwatch thread get a hold of that list. The news of a supposed increased focus on PvE content could prove fatal to them

What is the status of Silvermoon nowadays? Over the years, I've been under the impression that Silvermoon has largely been reclaimed, even the western half that is currently populated by Wretched in-game.

Yeah at the very least there should be some kind of on going reclamation effort visible in game by now. Even simple stuff like having guarded priests handing out sunwell vials to the wretched, and replacing the Keal'thas statues all over the place would help make the zone feel less frozen in time.

I think with them saying how silvermoon is the last bastion of the horde on the eastern kingdoms and the alliance might attack it some day it makes sense they'd do some work on it. And out of the two i can see that one being a lot harder to make the zone look better for flying compared to the azuremyst isles which don't seem like they'll need nearly as much work.

Just got out of a dungeon, only for someone in trade chat to offer 4k for 120 solid stone. Which I just happened to have because I'd decided to drop one of my professions for mining and had been leveling that. Second easiest gold I've ever made.

The Diablo leaks at least sound plausible, for what it's worth. D2 remastered especially, considering recent job openings that Blizz has posted.

"Patch 8.1 details" could simply be when it's released, and when the Kul Tirans and Zandalari will become available for unlocking during the patch.

Nothing has ever been officially said by Blizzard. Everything you might've heard about a Warcraft 3 remaster is rumour at best, wishful thinking at the likeliest. Not saying it'll never happen (I'd cream if they announced it this Blizzcon), but don't hold your breath.

sucks how i got invited into a social guild on argent dawn with cool and interesting people, and then find out im the only active member in it after a small bout of inactivity. like, i had hoped to have something in the way of social besides spamming uwu and owo in the trade chat and the casual pig n whistle rp but nah, everyone just fucked off two months after the expansion launched. anyone else seeing this? i hope it's not a trend. despite all the complaints, I actually am enjoying myself. but i'd rather have people to hang out with while playing, y'know.

it's probably one of those guilds that just spam invite anybody and everybody, which is a terrible way to make an actually community. my priest on AD is part of one where there's legit one person whose at max level, which isn't me

Tonight's the night, lads. What're we hoping for? Personally hoping warriors will get a 500% damage buff because we get screwed over in every patch.

I'm expecting vulpera and mechagnomes. I'm optimistic for sethrak but im more realistic about the vulpera and junker gnomes being the next two allied races since they're both smallbois and they both are based off the goblin / gnome rigs (although vulpera apparently is pretty heavily modified.) But who knows im really hoping for some surprises.

Considering Blizzard still can't get headgear to work on most of the current races I really don't see Sethrak being an option. The fact that troll ears don't line up with the ear holes in the horde set is such astounding laziness.
