I'm glad to see Malfurion finally growing some balls The new female goblin models are ... oddly arousing
oh hey blizzard is finally giving tauren a totem to lug around and bash people with
Implying Goblin gurls haven't always been the ultimate qts. I actually like the junker gnomes, the only thing I'm down about is that having cyborg gnomes as an allied race really reduces the chances of us getting some clockwork themed transmog for other races. Having a transmog set involving a clockwork bionic arm or leg would have been awesome, but I doubt they will do it if having bionic parts is all that separates these gnomes from the original race. Also super hot take, High elves should be playable, but as additional customisation for the blood elves instead of an allied race. I don't get why the High Elves are still hanging around with the alliance after it welcomed the guys that almost re-corrupted the sunwell into their ranks? Maybe I'm just going by old lore that has since been retconned, but I remember that when my Paladin visited the sunwell as part of the battered hilt questline in WOTLK, he met both Blood and High elves there. I got the impression that while the b/h elves were still political enemies, they had some kind of ceasefire when it came to Quel'thalas and the sunwell, because they all still depended on it. But then the void bois almost trash the thing and the High Elves are just cool with it? If Blizzard really don't want to give them to alliance players, I would have thought this would be a good lore opportunity for the last few elves to jump ship and reunite with Quel'thalas.
The majority of void elves were previously high elves. That's likely why they're cool with it. High elves in Quel'thalas, and those who go to the Sunwell, are only barely tolerated. They're allowed safe pilgrimage to the Sunwell, as Lor'themar believe they have as much right to access it as the blood elves, but beyond that, they're not welcome.
I'm sure they would be more welcome if they defected from the Alliance. It seems a little strange for the High Elves who spent the longest time taking pride in being untainted by magic dependency suddenly ~falling to the void to own the Horde~.
In the terror of darkshore cinematic every soldier of the horde possibly fathers and sons died because Saurfang didn't finish malftrumpion back then #SylvanasDinduNothingWrong2018
I still think its crazy that there are elves that started as night elves turned into high elves then blood elves then void elves in their lifetime.
Yeah that's fucking weird. I suppose that's what happens when you live for thousands of years.
I don't think any of the original Highborne who travelled to the Eastern Kingdoms are alive anymore. Not even during the Third War. While high/blood elves are incredibly long-lived, they're not immortal, and their maximum lifespan is likely ~4k years. Anasterian was considered ancient by the time of his death, and he was somewhere between 3k-4k years old. According to this, there was also two generations of royalty between the reign of Dath'Remar and Anasterian, meaning they can't have lived to much more than 4k years at best.
Interesting. I've really only seen descriptions saying that they turned pale / shrunk / etc. But i guess if you can find actual family tree type information that might narrow down their age and we can guess in how many generations that took place in.
There's conflicting information regarding their change from night elves to high elves. Some pieces claim it took place over several years, while others say it happened almost overnight after the Sunwell was created.
I don't see why people think the Sethrak are going to join any faction. They where called a dying race during the story line, and then you proceed to genocide the shit out of them at the end of the questline and murder their king. The faction of 'good' sethrak is immensely small, and ended up getting nearly wiped out at the end of the quest. Although I suppose it's just lore and it doesn't really matter to Blizzard anymore. Where did you get a confirmation that Worgen females are getting the clouded eyes?
So apparently, Kul Tirans won't be able to be mages, but can be shamans instead.
But... Jaina is Kul Titan and is a mage that makes no sense.
She was trained in Dalaran though. I don't think the Storm Sages take kindly to mages as they have a monopoly on magical power in Kul Tiras.
You could argue that Jaina is the exception. She might be Kul Tiran, but she has spent the majority of her adult life in Dalaran, Lordaeron, and Theramore (before the latter two were destroyed). In a lot of ways, she's Kul Tiran in name only.
True, kind of forgot that.
Looking to get into WoW, but dont have the money to do so. Should I just play on private servers or wait until I have enough for the real thing?
Play the free trial until level 20?
stormsages are kind of too much of a mix of everything to put in one class. they're priests, shammys and mages all at once. Jaina was also a prodigy and probably unique to dalaran.

I was thinking about it and BFA is partial expansion to hold you over until the real one gets here just like WoD was. When you think of all the work put into legion it's amazing, the class order halls, arrifacts, surmar, ect. All the effort from legion has gone to next expansion. This drought of appearances for classes and heritage armor is being stock piled for when they bring out the real artifact armor to. The artifact weapons made all the classes feel good, now it's dog dick pathetic how they feel. They gotta lower us down just to bring us back to glory with the real artifact armor.
Has anyone here tried the classic demo? There is a bug with hunters, where if you pick humanoid slaying talent, you can wpvp with other hunters with that same talent. It's a lot of fun
So there were some errors concerning classes for the Zandalari and Kul Tirans. Zandalari can't be warlocks, and Kul Tirans can be mages.
scratch all this kul tirans have lots of mages, everything is all good.
From the PTR. That's... pretty intense.
meh the tauran won't bolt from the horde for anything.
Is there an Alliance FP guild on Wyrmrest Accord?
if the tauren were to do that, they'd need to be ready to get instantly swarmed by the other horde factions. doesn't sound like a great idea does it
Yeah them being surrounded by the Horde kind of forces them into staying, even if they wanted to leave.
