First, no need to get another character level 55 anymore (I think); it's not possible to make a DK straight away. Second, I'd say humans or orcs are your best bet, simply because it's obvious that a lot of the DK-themed armour in the game was made with them in mind.
Even in death he still serves. https://files.facepunch.com/forum/upload/107128/7dc1101a-d32b-4edd-841f-10228ec422f5/WoWScrnShot_011219_193513.jpg
Orcs can stand upright now, so probly them. https://static.altchar.com/live/media/images/950x633_ct/8134_Unhunched_Orc_7031cafb241713caff83a0839b3cc6f5.png they're real heckin chonkers
Depends on the aesthetic you are going for, any race can make for a sweet looking DK considering they have their own class specific customisation, so it really all comes down to what kind of archetype you are going for. A vast majority of combat animations are shared across all races now, so it might be worth making a few test death knights and attacking training dummies until you find a race with attacks that look just right for you. If you want the classic bulky as fuck chaos warrior appeal, you can't go wrong with Orcs and Humans. Draenei and Tauren are also really good fits because of their massive shoulderpads, and considering a lot of leg and foot gear now have unique models that will cover up the hooves with armoured plates, you don't have to put up with having their feet poking out at all times so long as you have the right transmog. Blood Elves are great if you are going for the whole aristocratic undead vampire count look. Due to their hunched stance, trolls are ideal for a creepy plaguebringer necromancer aesthetic. Ultimately it all comes down to what kind of undead abomination you want to be.
I'm slowly building up my Warrior's armour to get the full Night Elf look. https://i.gyazo.com/86fd2ca83829bfc84930d0616f1c0ff9.png Just need the bigger shoulders and the sword and I'll be done. It's such a gorgeous set.
I hope they move the end point for SW portals out of the mage tower and into there, that poor room was never meant to have dozens of people porting in constantly
Still mad that the glaive is a DH-only weapon.
So we're getting some profession-specific quests and items to use and uh...oh boy, my druid is gonna love that enchanting item. https://wow.zamimg.com/uploads/screenshots/normal/802813.jpg
https://youtu.be/Y-8CaOSdRzo Hey Guys! Ras from Rsauce here. After covering a few of the hardest bosses in Classic I wanted to go back to the basics and work on a new video format based around being quick, concise and informational for Molten Core since a lot of the player base is familiar with it to an extent - so without further ado it's time to start the MC Boss Guide Series for Classic!
you know it would probably be nice for blacksmiths the traditional armor repairers to be able to repair armor in dungeons and raids.
So....i did saurfangs blessing and now im lost...what exactly am i supposed to do now? My DK is level 64 after the quest chain and a few instanced raids whre should i go to level? i am currently in ogrimmar
Level, my man. Thanks to the leveling revamp in 7.3.5.(?), you can level on almost any continent that you want. I'd personally recommend Northrend, as Outland has some of the most tedious quest design in the entire game.
TBC content in general is really meh. So I've traipsed my way through Draenor content (faster than I thought I would) and I've just arrived in Legion content. I have looms going to 110, is it worth to get some Draught of Ten Lands to help things along?
Leveling in Legion is already fairly easy, especially if you've got flying and do Legion Assaults. Granted, I personally think the leveling experience in Legion is one of the most boring, so if you really wanna breeze through, then yeah, it'd be a worthwhile investment.
Don't have flying but I did have a legion assault in the zone I picked to quest in, which meant 2 levels in like 45 minutes. Which is neat.
Okay, so I mentioned before that the questline about Lucille Waycrest's wedding is pretty fucking sad. That first time, I didn't see what happens when you bring her back the ring. No! No, game, no! I do not need this!
If you haven't been watching Methods world first on twitch you're missing out.
I've actually been following it fairly intensively. It's fascinating in a way: watching these absolutely hardcore and mindbogglingly dedicated raiders wiping repeatedly at the exact same phase, taking literally 80-90 attempts to advance to the next phase, only to wipe another 80-90 times again.
Random question: the purple world boss that resets every week. Are you only able to get loot the first time on a character?
Yes.
No, I mean like 'once entirely'. Because on 3 different characters, I've only received gear on the first kill. Out of a combined 20 or so now.
You have a chance of getting a piece of gear from the world boss once per week, per character. If you don't receive gears on, say, week 2, then you're just not lucky. It's not uncommon at all to kill a world boss several times without ever seeing any gear drop. First world boss I killed in BfA gave me gear, but a full 2 months passed before I got another drop.
In other news, I've been having the weird luck of having emissary mission that are '4 world quests in X' that also happen to have an assault going on at the same time.
I'm so glad assaults don't lockdown entire zones in BFA. I remember when I was grinding for my PVP appearances in legion, and I'd be just about to wipe out some mage in a bearback brawl that had 20 minutes remaining- and the sky would suddenly turn green and I'd miss out on 500 bonus honour because "fuck you legion assault"
Request for patch 8.1.5: remove Shrine of the Storms.
While I really like the fact the player characters are starting to turn up in cutscenes now it has some janky moments. I did a warfront the otherday and a copy of my character was standing on every single one of the rowboats heading into darkshore.

Near dead thread. Anyway: patch 8.1.5 is coming out on March 12th. It'll finally bring Kul Tirans and Zandalari as Allied Races, and we'll continue the war campaigns, as well as get the profession quests for some "epic" items. The raid 'Crucible of Storm' will arrive later - I'm guessing a couple of weeks after the patch goes live.
Maybe I'll renew my sub then. I lost all interest in BfA a few months ago because I just wanted a thicc girl.
I wanna get my Kul Tiran humans unlocked but that means I still have to quest through Tiragarde Sound AND the Pride of Kul'Tiras questline.
