World of Warcraft: Battle For Azeroth V2 - Daelin Was Right (feat. Mark Addy)

I thought they unbanned the folks using the tiddy mods?
I'm still on daily, slowly making my way towards AP level 50. Almost there in fact.
I'm also just a week late, but I got Curve on Jaina last week.
They did, but it was the last straw that broke the camel's back for them and went over to FFXIV
What has changed the most since release? Thinking of resubbing
Not much. There's been added some more content to the war campaign, a new Warfront, and a new raid. That's about it.
Come patch 8.2 however, Blizzard is completely reworking the AP system, and it looks set to be a ton better than it is now.
Fixing the AP system will only fix half of the problems this exapnsion faces, the other half is class design, which I think is way more important.
Can you elaborate on class design? I played a fire mage and I felt pretty fire-y
every spec has been pruned really hard in recent times, and legion was a good time to let some classes grow a bit with the artifact system proving that a lot of the passives classes got were crucial in making the classes actually fun to play. so the smart move would've been to attempt to incorporate most of those passives to baseline.
well no they got pruned even more with really shitty, one-sided talent choices.
I can't speak much for other classes besides warrior, but warrior got fucked hard. Arms in Legion was pretty strong, but the spec got tanked at BfA's launch. Fury was mostly the same, but lost a fair bit of survivability outside of a single defensive CD (not counting Rallying Cry). Protection I don't think I need to touch much on: it went from a great tank spec to being one of the worst. Its single most useful
ability had its effectiveness cut in half and was put on the global CD.
Arms and prot are now back to being viable specs once more, but it took until 8.1 for that to be fixed (alongside so many other classes and specs).
Yup, basically for Legion they redesigned the classes around the artifact weapons, and instead of redesigning them again for BFA to account for the removal of artifacts they kept them basically as they were in the legion pre-patch: weak and boring.
I've only ever played Fury Warrior, but by BfA I felt myself neutered in combat. Compared to Legion it wasn't anywhere as satisfying. It's one of the reasons I stopped playing altogether.
My Enhancement Shaman became utter dogshit when I stopped being able to get chain stormstrike procs, boost my attacks per second and reset the cooldowns of my on-hit effects. 10/10 engaging gameplay Blizz.

Thrallnos.
I'm happy bringing Thrall back if it means we get to punt Sylvanas out of the game.
It sounds unlikely, but if what Saurfang said was true, those assassins weren't only there for him, but Thrall as well. That should give him all the justification to return to Azeroth to help depose Sylvanas.
Honestly I can't figure out if involving Thrall with the Horde again was the writers' plan from the very beginning of Battle for Azeroth and they pretty much used Sylvanas' going to the very deep end as a way to justify a character shift that would had been incredibly jarring otherwise or if they realized how much they fucked up the Battle for Azeroth plot angle and pulled out Thrall as a last resort to appease the fans even if it meant completely destroying Thrall character's arc from Cataclysm onward
Nah, at the Blizzcon 2017 presentation they said he'd return for BFA, but because of Chris Metzen injuries at the time they had to introduce Thrall later.
I completely forgot that there was the image of Thrall carrying Vol'jin's urn.
Why invite people to stress test and then lock the realm? Queuing always has been part of the experience I suppose.
Started playing WoW for the first time, having a blast levelling currently.
The sheer amount of content that resides in this game is truly amazing.

It is me. The wanderer of the Borean Thundra, slayer of the Scourge and the downfall of the Scarlet Onslaught. The Reaper of Lives.
Northrend wasn't all glory and sunshine as I thought. I had to kill some of our own just because they managed to get captured. This place has changed me as an Orc.
On a recent note, I hit level 80.

'Bout as ready as can be for 8.2.
