World of Warcraft: Battle For Azeroth V2 - Daelin Was Right (feat. Mark Addy)

It's been pretty good for me so far.
I did get through it a lot faster than Legion though.
I like BFA so far but I'm playing very casually, an hour or two a day. I'll agree on the mission table though, it feels kinda pointless this expansion.
Both Ele and Enh are kinda fucky at the moment, Ele is almost unplayable and Enh feels unfinished and its resource generation is screwed up.
Not to mention Shadow Priest is doing less DPS than Disc priest in dungeons.
Hell NO
Although I've barely done any 120 content so far, so far my biggest complaint is the overwhelming reliance on RNG. You can barely get anything today just by hard work. Want to gather those
sweet Warfronts mogs? RNG. Wanna get PvP gear? RNG.
It's artificially making the game even more grindy, slow, and boring. You can't really set yourself goals, because there isn't a goal to reach: rather, the goal might appear in front of you within a
week, or maybe after 6 months.
remember getting justice/valor points from doing dungeons so eventually you could buy a piece of gear that you needed?
I kind of agree with BfA being inferior to Legion so far. The stakes don't feel very high, Kul'Tiras and Zandalar don't feel very mysterious and I don't feel like they put nearly as much small world exploration in, Legion I was tripping over hidden areas with chests and rare spawns that had meaningful item drops or cool toys. BfA feels like every mob cluster needs it's own rare that drops an azurite crystal worth 15 and 8 war supplies. Suramar City was this cool place I didn't mind grinding Nightfallen rep slowly to unlock more of, yet there's no equivalent in BfA and I'm already sick of grinding 7th Legion rep. Leveling up doesn't feel rewarding whatsoever, 90% of the azurite traits are just health or shield bubbles or other useless stuff at least for Rogue.
tbh BFA feels too much like legion, WQ's feel meaningless as well as the emissaries, and azerite doesn't feel like it's even worth the effort of grinding island expeditions on a weekly basis just to be able to choose between different passive effects that just add a bit more dps and rarely, if ever actually make a difference to your rotation
the thing I mostly don't like about bfa is everything being rep gated.
I think its hard to start making fair comparisons to other expacs when we aren't even a month in yet.
Flashbacks to MoP (though it wasn't even THAT bad back then).
well its like they took the nightborne questline, and said "Hey everybody liked this rep gating thing for major content, so lets apply it everywhere." Remember, when legion launched, you couldn't do Arcway or Court of Stars then when nighthold came out you had to progress so far to open the door for that. Only after they got past the nightborne arc did they drop the atunement but they still had the rep gates on the nightborne quests which were somewhat required for other things in legion like profession advancement.
But the Nightborne story was actually good, engaging, and great characters. There were also a lot more WQ's that could get you rep with them, which sped things up a bit.
While I know there's also more story to unlock behind these rep gates, from what I hear, it is nowhere near as good as the one in Suramar.
Yeah if you aren't interested in either of the new allied races, there isn't exactly much to work towards once you have pathfinder part 1 out of the way.
progression has been cut down with bfa so far and a lot of things are wonky or feel beta-like.
why bother doing m+ when i can spam 100 arena matches and get 360gear faster and more consistent that running a mythic+5 which will drop a maximum of 355. In legion I didn't mind running m+ a lot early but now i feel a giant "why bother"
Having to horde every possible azerite trait gear as balance is all over the place and feels like any can become next to useless in a heartbeat. none of the pieces I have obtained from the raid so far have been upgrades because sockets on my current gear give more benefit than the ilvl.
I swear I read that titanforging and sockets etc are going to be less frequent so now it's made the one time you get extremely lucky and titanforge something in normal uldir that unless it happens again with the same slot in heroic then you have a slot that will never likely be upgraded with the content you are doing.
Sure the titanforging thing has been a thing for a long time but it honestly feels a lot worse now I can go through 10 m+ dungeons and see no warforged/titanforged at all so spamming them for progression in gear seems a bit of a lost cause.
I just grinded for the better part of today doing everything I knew of to speed things along and I managed to get my priest up a whopping 7 levels in the course of 13-4 hours which included 6 full palets of dungeon quests and an entire fresh zone of quests, now I'm 58 and just able to start northrend where god help me Borean Tundra might be long and tedious enough to keep my quest log grinding because leveling is not fun at all right now, and there's no reason for it since its impossible to out level content.
I swear blizz is just doing all this to force people to buy lvl boosts but they're not that good.
wheezy hacking laughs are the fucking best
the QA is honestly disgusting but I should've seen it coming considering some class specs were still basically unfinished and underdeveloped during prepatch.
and still are.
While we are complaining, I'd like to have another bout of whinging about what blizzard did to shadow priest.
Not content with completely fucking the spec mechanically, they inexplicably replaced the awesome legion shadowform effect with some weird, unfinished looking, smoke effect that looks worse than vanilla shadow form did.
I've honestly kind of just stepped away from WoW for now. Everything feels so meh compared to Legion.
Guess everyone on YouTube was right when they said it wouldn't be as good as Legion.
glad to see that after a week of having six non-repeatable quests and some non-repeatable rares, while horde had as many turnins for AP as they could afford, we now have a week of nothing while horde does a spammable, non-failable scenario for free 340 gear that can warforge
good expansion blizz this sure makes up for the reskinned horses i get from my reputations, love to be alliance
The Horde probably would be doing that scenario if we weren't getting immediately booted from it (occasionally complete with a deserter debuff) or refused entry entirely by a bugged group finder. Currently, nobody can queue for anything on my realm.
Battle for Azeroth?, more like Beta for Alpharoth! Eh? eh?
I find it pretty disgusting that I'm expected to resubscribe to access a feature of the expansion because it was gated for the alliance for pretty much 4 weeks after bfa launch
I'm Horde and currently spamming WF for the gear and I think it's bullshit. What is the point of doing mythic dungeons at all if you can get 5x the loot for 1% of the effort?
Rewards need to have a limit per cycle and the cycles need to be shorter. Like 2 days of prep, 2 days of warfront and then the changeover. They could shorten the preparation cycle just by having the turn-ins be dailies, which would also help with the awful Honourbound/7th Legion rep grind.
As for the scenario itself, it's cool the first time but that's it. It's the same thing and plays out almost exactly the same way every time. With how much they've been pushing faction rivalry this xpac I have no freaking clue why they made Warfronts a strictly PvE thing. If it were a Wintergrasp-type PvP deal it would be great.
Hopefully they see they fucked up and make some major adjustments.
Warfronts seemed designed to be PVP anyway, I'd be shocked if it didn't come later. Its a cool idea but in its current state unless your group all leave or go afk its literally impossible to lose.
my guild has a father, son, and mother who all play together and anyways one night the son was talking dirty and the father jokingly threatened to fuck his mother which turned weirder as he began encouraging his father to do it and loudly.
this guild is funnier than my legion guild already and they have 3 active raid teams and mythic teams so whenever I actually get geared that will be great
I'm not sure why you'd expected that. Worgen never had foot armor and there's no indication they're getting it now or ever.
I say this as someone with a worgen warrior main and it saddens me.

the only set of draenei boots in the game
I hate getting gear thats 50 ilvl better but sims worse than what i have because of the traits being locked behind grinding azerite.
