World of Warcraft: Battle For Azeroth V2 - Daelin Was Right (feat. Mark Addy)

Mok'Nathal and Broken would be cool but I am so fucking sick to death of elves.
Somewhere a Blizzard employee finishes drafting up plans for 4 more allied races, all blood elves with slightly different color skin.
San'layn would be my ideal race.
In fact, I like pretty much all of these besides High Elves.
I'm not one to complain about there being too many elves, they have always been my favourite race in fantasy settings. But having another blood elf race that doesn't have any kind of defining characteristic besides ~special hair~ would be kinda redundant.
At least Void Elves have their own look, and the San'layn would have the whole undead thing to set them apart. A High Elf is just a Blood Elf with different political views lol.
Hozen or riot
In the same way the rest of WoD was a joke.
Oh I forgot to mention, in this timeline Durotan and Draka had a baby girl instead of a boy, who is the leader of the Mag'Har who came through to Azeroth. Lady Thrall is a thing that exists now.
In Anduin's defense, whatever he might say, I think it boils down to him being established as a character who seeks peace above all else. Although it would arguably be better to destroy the entire
Zandalari fleet, he refuses to indulge in wholesale slaughter.
And honestly, this makes him quite a good character imo. Is a victory truly a victory is you have to sacrifice all of your values to obtain it?
Anduin's character would actually be somewhat refreshing if he wasn't just the white to Sylvanas' black right now. He's willing to make tactically unwise decisions in order to preserve life, She's willing to make tactically sound decisions even if they are dishonourable and abhorrent.
A major difference still, though, is that while Anduin's decisions are respected (perhaps bar Tyrande at the moment (who is, understandably, furious at the Alliance's reluctance to assist in
Darkshore)) by the other Alliance leaders (because one, if not the primary goal of the Alliance, is to achieve peace), Sylvanas is splitting the Horde apart.
The orcs, taurens, and trolls are all deeply invested in the concept of honour, something which Sylvanas has shown to entirely lack. The blood elves, meanwhile, are not as invested in the notion of
honour, but are the primary military target should Arathi fall to the Alliance, meaning they're likely opposed to any decisions Sylvanas might make that'd see them exposed to attack. Not to mention that
I'd argue that, while they're not terribly concerned about mercy and honour, neither do they wish to participate in genocide against other races - something it is heavily implied is Sylvanas' ultimate goal.
Even the forsaken is split on what to do. To me it seems that while half of them supports Sylvanas (mostly the military), the other half (mostly civilians) actually appear to loathe their existence, and do
not understand why they're even still alive. This was clearly seen during the pre-patch, where you could find many displaced forsaken saying things like "Why do we still live?" and "I never asked for this...
Not to mention the fact that Blood Elves are now far closer to the traditional idea of fantasy high elves than they are to the cold and calculating crack fiend mana addicts we knew and loved in TBC.
Many Sin'dorei now have the Light literally pouring out of their faces, they outright banished any blood elves practising void magic out of fear it would corrupt their font of holy power. I'm not sure how the writers plan to reconcile this new pious identity with the current warchief's apparent plan to exterminate all life lol.
Its hard to take the current story seriously because you're asking me to care about a war where one side is run by a literal undead monster that seems to regard anything thats alive as a problem to be solved by killing it and resurrecting it into a rotting mentally unstable shitheap.
I wouldn't say the blood elves are as pious as they seem. While they've certainly changed a great deal over the years, there's still a lot of the cold, almost ruthless calculation present when dealing with
them, especially the Magisters. I think it really depends on who you're dealing with: Lor'themar is ever the pragmatist, same with Halduron. Rommath is still suspicion of everyone, and Liadrin, while
certainly a bold, righteous paladin, is still a blood elf, and her hostility to even Turalyon in Arathi shows that, at the end of the day, her people are the only one's she truly cares about.
Such a shame to see so many paladins putting party politics before whats good for Azeroth smh #draintheswamp
That's probably just good old fashioned Blood Elf distrust of humans as opposed to only caring about her own people. Remember that she was a key figure supporting the nighborne rebellion- and unlike the Alliance, the Blood Elves were motivated by a genuine sense of compassion towards the nightfallen, ultimately winning their allegiance.
True, but then again, they also have a shared heritage.
Broken and Mok'nathal are too ugly for a playable race.
More elves for everyone!

I mean ultimately you should be playing the game for yourself to have fun, so I wouldn't worry about it too much. Heroic and Mythic are very easy as well so I wouldn't worry about getting through those. But ultimately it depends on if you want to be caught up to raid. If you're looking to raid as soon as possible or raid with your guildies and be ready to go I'd say level boost.
The problem I've always had when boosting a character is all of a sudden I've got a bunch of new abilities and passives and have to read a bunch of guides to know what I should be using and how I should be arranging them on my hotbars and stuff, and even after reading the guide it still takes a while to memorise every little detail. But leveling a character, being fed new abilities one at a time while introducing more and more enemy mechanics I find gets me more familiar and comfortable with the class than a guide ever could.
nah don't bother boosting, leveling only takes a couple of days ans you get a much better feel for your class if you just stick it out.
just did a +10 king's rest, took almost 2 hours with 104 deaths
pretty sure this is what causes suicide
Ive never stuck with a character i boosted. I just don't feel any attachment to them and i feel like i never fully understand the way you're supposed to play the class compared to when you level a character and progressively unlock skills with plenty of training time.
I boosted a mage and while I kinda enjoy it and know the rotation, my output is abysmal.
My warrior on the other hand, whom I boosted with Legion, does pretty good so I guess it's all up to what really suits your play style.
I can't be the only one who is bothered by how we can't choose what troops we recruit. I've stopped counting the amount of times I've been unable to get bonus loot from a mission because I don't have
any ranged troops.
I actually went ahead and searched for the original thread for that and holy shit if the World of Warcraft forums aren't the extremely toxic cesspool I've always remembered
Just curious, who are your guys favorite WoW content creators and or streamers? I really enjoy Taliesin and Savix personally. Taliesin for comedy, quality and content and Savix for the memes and a innocent laugh. What about y'all? I need to find more content to watch so I'm interested in hearing back.
Mike Morheim stepping down and J, Allen Brack is the new President of Blizzard.

He thinks he wants that position but he doesn't.
leveling from 1 to 110 takes a bit longer than 2 days.
