I finished a high rank rathalos quest in a similar fashion, except instead of the fall damage there was a very angry pickle waiting for him at the end :v

Why does it feel like the hunting horn stuns and breaks parts more easily than the hammer? I'm not even specced for KO or partbreaker.

Christ Kirin's a prick Give that arsehole an inch and he'll take a mile of your health bar, stunning you, then finish you off with lightning you cant avoid I can pretty reliably kill him, mind, but im fuckin' dreading tempered kirin (I'm already packing antipara and the raincoat, just not running antistun even though I really, REALLY should)

Kirin is way less of a pain with thunder res over 30 and stun res at 3. No need to even pack Nulberries for the fight and I can just focus on attack, dodging, and healing only. Though I also use a HBG with a shield as a recommended weapon choice since thunder that doesn't strike in a line can be blocked without guard upgrades.

I can't tell which is more annoying: Bazelgueze or tempered Pink Rathian.

I never had much issues with Bazel, the main problem for me is that he always starts shit when fighting a different monster. I was really afraid of hunting 2 tempered ones but it ended up being a cakewalk.

Been playing Aerial Dual Blades and Hammer in MHGU (for breaking when I need the parts). Demon mode Aerial Attacks are crazy good.

Personally love Kirin's and Teo's fights because of the variety of their moves instead of the usual "melee swipe, divebomb and fire breath"

Bazel is programmed to come whenever a monster engages in combat and carpet bomb the area. You can abuse this by starting a fight, putting the Gillie mantle on and letting the fucker go Dresden on whatever it is you were hunting.

Bazel is just such a boring fight when he's in his rage mode. The bombs just seem to drop off at random so you can't even approach him.

Trying to blaze through all of your neglected optional quests is a real fucking test of patience when it's all 80% arena shit.

Just beat Tempered Kirin. My senses are sharp as nails right now.

I've gotten so used to Aerial Dual Blades that it's hard for me to play anything else other than Aerial Insect Glaive, which might have as much air superiority as the Dual Blades do. The slower weapons are right out.

God, never mount him in that area, he can fly over the lava portion which is a no-go zone for hunters so you'll just auto-dismount and it's absolute piss.

Exactly when do I get to augment armor, I beat tempered kirin and kushala, but I still don't seem to have the materials.

you need streams to get augments, both types/levels for weapons, minor for armor.

I mean, what are the types though?

You'd have to exclusively be doing T1 tempered monsters to go hundreds of hours without getting those though
