Health regen augment is underrated. Not having to stop attacking to chug a potion does a hell of a lot more on your dps than the damage augment.
Sucks for Bow, LBG, and HBG though.
Health regen augments are pretty strong, can translate into more overall dps with how much health it recovers. I usually only roll with affinity up and hp regen
I only ever roll hp regen on lances, just because you're going to be in the monsters grundle for the whole fight.
Yeah, for my decimation claws, aka my main elder slayer weapon, I'm split between affinity and health. Though the only reason I want affinity is because I have master's touch, so maybe health is the better way to go.
affinity is easy enough to boost through jewels.
get health regen.
sip an immunizer and have at least midrange health regen and your latent damage will pretty much be healed up by the time you get back up from a knockdown; super convenient for cqc
I finally got the nergigante gem, but the grind was so long that I'm so hesitant to use it on any of my weapons, I'm so scared I'll regret putting it on one particular weapon or something.
Except I can go on reddit right now and see chunks of people having 600+ hours with one attack stone, much less the progression needed for the rest. "It worked for me" isn't a gameplay mechanic.
If you have nergi or pickle claws, farming nerg should be quick enough to invest in both. Health should aways be the priority in a named rarity weapon unless you plan on wearing VH armor 24/7, cause it makes up for needing either rec up or rec speed alike, and virtually any armor or weapon in the game can slot affinity decs or a skill set from said armor piece(s).
I just upgraded my decimation claws and jesus christ I gotta say, this is the most fun I've had in the game so far.
Fighting Tempered Kushala with any weapon makes me want to slam my fist through a table, this asshole turns my 200 HP bar into a pretty sizeable thermometer with just about any attack. If you fall on the ground and Kushala prepares any other move that will hit you as you get up you might as well call that a cart before it ever happens. I cannot believe I collected Vaal's footsteps for 50 minutes just for that awful investigation. I'd rather fucking fight Tempered Kirin because i can anticipate the next move that fool will make.
.
Oh 2 carts only too... FUUUUNNNN
I hear about Kushala being a bigger pain in the ass than any other monster in the game, tbh. You can definitely beat him easier than some others, but that doesn't stop him from being a gigantic pain.
bring along an All Wind Pressure Negated hunting horn to render kushy angry and impotent
I'm waiting to get the bow+ charge decoration before i fight kushala and bazel again. Too bad that fucking deco has a 0.47% chance to drop from rarity 7 feystones.
Doesn't Kushala have special "black/dragon" wind that can't be negated by that? In other games I remember you could only use poison to fully get rid of it
All wind negate will work on kushala's wind. It's "wind pressure" that doesn't work.
You talked about warrior and hero streamstones which have a significantly higher chance to drop than the huge pool that is decorations, did you somehow miss my post above yours that was saying the decoration farming endgame of World was utter dogshit?
Alright I can't be bothered to try Tempered Kushala alone anymore, I got a session up so anyone who joins would be appreciated if even if you might faint trying. I need more than 3 First aid meds if I'm gonna beat this asshole for sure.
Session ID: 3pseatkDTBk
Stick around after I lose my last 2 remaining attempts at tempered Kushala for Tempered Kirin, I can handle fighting the big unicorn fella unlike the big steel boi
Are you crafting mega potions? You saying 4 first aid meds makes it seem like you don't know about the other consumables.
Would like to second this. My friend plays HH sometimes and he brought the xeno horn(I think) with all wind pressure negate. We were all surprised because without all the wind bouncing, the fight goes pretty fast. That buff is amazing for Kush if you can get a HH user.
Just a heads up for those playing monster hunter generation ultimate and are dual blade mains:
GU doesn't have any of the usj event quests and gear. Normally it wouldn't mean much but the best fire dual blades were the usj event ones. So you will have to make due with the hyper agnakator dual blades instead.
Yeah I craft Mega potions on top of First Aid Med+ from the box, we get free extra consumables x4 when another person joins. I go through the meds first before going to the mega potion as those actually cost me more than making First Aid Med+. If I don't craft at all it's free which is precisely what I wanted when going after Kushala who makes me burn through my mats.
Also I got a sullied streamstone finally after hunting Tempered Kirin for a while so the session is closed.
You're telling me its rare? I got like four of em
Share.
Anyone with bowgun experience got any tips? Just dipping into these weapons for the first time.
Oh, that's convenient, another reason for loving the Vespoid horn then
you want to try and build bowguns for their ammo, rather than damage stats.
so for example, if you want to be a sleep bomber, you're best to look for bowguns that can use sleep 2 and also has a decent reload speed and ammo size.
It makes you look like a fantasy Guy Fieri. He's on a quest to find the hottest Diners, Drive-ins, and Dives of the New World.

lol spent all this time trying to get the bow charge+ gem, finally concede and try playing with bowgun, immediately get bow charge+ gem.
Fuck this game.
Never let the game know what you want or else it'll never give it to you until you give up.
