Weird, Teo never one shots me and I have significantly less defense than that? Then again I dodge nearly all of his attacks, but still
Teo can be annoying with his flame pools and swipes and all, but he's not horrible.
Also why is 3/4 of my tempered quests for Kushala Daroa. Why can't I get a fun monster like Vaal or Nergigante? Hell, Teostra is pretty decent.
It was a tempered Teo, so maybe that attack just does ridiculous amounts of damage.

Was playing with what I assume was a Japanese player cause all his stuff callouts were in Japanese, fighting Deviljho when he gets dragon blighted and Jho runs off to scream at local herbivores. I try to hand him a nulberry and he just stops, turns around and looks at me for like 5 seconds, does a full circle and then runs off to Jho and gets one-hit.
It's honestly something to smile about.

It's honestly kind of amazing how good pubs can actually be in this game. Like they're plenty of bad ones, but more often than not you can come accross some pretty good teams.
Guess I'll have to start using it more often then, I used them a lot in 4U but somehow forgot about them
Just don't do harder tempered investigations with them. Every time I tried to share my tempered Black Diablos investigations they always just get cart'd until it fails. I just solo my tempered Black Diablos investigations now
Sometimes I wish faints were limited respawns instead of making you fail the mission, I could solo pretty much anything but playing online is more fun, except sometimes teammates are liabilities than anything
I join stuff like Kusha Investigations all the time and it usually ends pretty well.
Kush is prolly the easiest tempered fight because he just gets rushed down in a couple of minutes since he cant stop getting his dumb ass flash podded.
Black Diablos on the other hand isn't nearly as susceptible to flash pod abuse and kicks your ass Kirin levels of "oh fuck" and people just walk into the fucker and die.
You say this but Black Diablos would be easier to subdue with flashpod spam since Tempered Elders can only be flashed 4 times.
Didn't they say they wanted the pc and console event schedule to have parity at some point? How is that ever going to happen if they don't speed up the PC schedule?
So far the actual content updates have been appearing slightly faster than they did on console, so lets say 2 years and we'll be on the same ground as them
You don't even subdue Diablos with flashpods tho its a tiny daze at best and doesn't lead nearly enough of an opening as knocking the flying fuckers out of the sky and everyone unleashing their most powerful shit. It's ridiculous how easy they are that by the time the flashpod resistance wears off if they aren't limping away to sleep then your squad is really lacking in the damage department. I have the elders on farm but BD still gives me a rough time.
Tempered Jho was supposed to be coming with this patch but they fucked up like capcom usually does, hear rumours that people who didn't update(due to having the game running I guess?) can actually do the event.

Yesterday and today for a few hours, was getting hammered down hard by Diablos and Black Diablos while trying to farm the coilbender, every damn time I tried.
Quit the game and went for a shower.
When I came back, I was shooting dragon piercers at them as relaxed as I could ever be, not dying a single time. Same for Nergigante, fucker was crash diving me every damn time yday. Comes today, I destroy him completely.
Tempered Black can only be flashed so many times too. She's not hard if you know what you're doing but otherwise u gon get fukd
B.Diablos still messes me up if I don't have a shield. Idk, her moveset just hasn't clicked with me yet, which is weird since it's so simple.
It's not the simply that kills you it's the xeno sized hitbox until you knock off the tail.
Man I'm really disappointed in how shitty element damage is on longswords. Pretty much no reason to use any LS other than the Divine Slasher.

I've been playing GS recently, ive had teams wait for me to do the L3 charge thing, i feel so bad because i fuck it up everytime, they're all great players. I switched to the SA for the moment.
I'm always anxious to use my flash pods, I don't want them to become reistant.
It's 4 pods per elder and unless you flash him in the tornado it's an easy dps window

I'm just getting into multiplayer and I've been doing some random matchmaking quests, but now I'm thinking about setting up a private multiplayer with a friend. I haven't used the Guild Hall at all, the Squad system is replaced by Steam Groups in the PC version.
We both need to be in the same steam group, right? Do I have to create a new Steam Group with only us in it? Does it need to be set as primary group?
You can just create a private online session and give him the cose, that way you can play with just the two of you.
Diablos has a damage hitbox much larger than its model. It even scales with the size of the model, so a gold crown Diablos, black or not, has a gigantic fucking AoE on each of its attacks. Not to mention the arc of them.
Once you get the hang of that its not bad, but a Tempered Black Diablos can punish pretty much any mistake with an instant cart, which is why I usually bring gunlance. Shield OP OP
