I see with the patch that they reintroduced the crashing bugs. I needed a break from the game anyway.

Well that was kinda easy, T. Devilho is still not so bad compared to Tempered Kushala. I beat him after my first two faints (downloaded his moves) on the event quest and shredded him on the last one. I expected to atleast fail the quest and have a shot at him again (unlike T. Kushala). Wake me up from my slumber once Behemoth rolls in.

You reckon Tempered Jho was easier than Tempered Kushala? I reckon the entire Sapphire Star quest is easier than Tempered Jho. I can't beat him with pubs and I can't find the bravery to try and solo him.

Dangit, I spent all yesterday plowing through the story quests from mid-low rank and onwards, but Nergigante played my ass like the bongos over and over no until I just had to give up. Currently grinding for a mixed Rathalos/Odogaron, looks like it'll beef me up for another go.

Anyone still playing Generations btw, cuz I kind of need help with farming Hyper Rathalos.

I've been having some terrible graphical issues in the last week or so, only happens in monster hunter and whilst it happens there isn't any registered FPS drop. It's also noticeable to a lesser extent in the town and southwest open area of the forest.

Basically the only driver you can use on MHW without using Inspector is 398.36 if you're on nvidia.

.36 is the latest you can use without issue, ala other games released after mhw having proper driver support.

Huh I haven't had any problems with the newest driver, and actually had performance boosts. Ocasional slowdowns to less than 20 fps for like 5 seconds but never in bad times, weirdly enough.

I'm just having problems with nerd giagante... It's mostly due to how you never get a gap to actually heal between the pounce, tailsweeps and divebombs. Having a palico doesn't help. The little shit stands next to me so any aggro he draws means I still get the brunt... Unless he is planting a vigorwasp station, then he always does it so the monster is between me and it.

Take a Health booster and Vitally Mantle, use pots only immediately after Nerg uses a slow attack to make any healing progress, or just stock up on Life powder and Life powder mats

Prolly cause you want plunderblade if you're farming or Meowlotov/Cheer Honk if you're not.

Honestly, it's amazing how Nergigante went from "nemisis" to "one of the best monsters in the entire game" for me. No gimmicks, no bullshit, just a fair, yet threatening fight.

I like fighting nergy mostly for the area its in. I love taking s&b and bow and spamming the awesome jump attacks they have off the pillars.

Oh you think that's awesome? Try spamming heavenly blade dance on him and eliminating him in 5 minutes flat.

Avoid his black spiked areas, they are about to burst and do shit loads of damage. If all his spikes are black, hes about to do his dive that can instakill most hunters in that range. Once you get past him, the other elders actually look like final bosses than he does.
