Well Black Diablos flies out of the ground vs regular Diablos that just kinda pops out and then crawls out of the hole. So if you want to stop her in her tracks it'd be good to use screamer pods.

Is Xeno supposed to be a massive pushover with gunlance? All of it's vertical attacks just tear it apart, and it can block almost all his shit with very low chip damage (Which gets countered with nerg's health passive).

Xeno is owned by range, melee not so much unless you have a named weapon.
This is how I felt about going against nerg for the first time. I was expecting it to be a lot harder with all the memes about it.
It 100% works on her regardless if she's enraged or not, and I can say that as a guy whose done the double diablo arena quest a multitude of times.
If you gave up on farming the azure rathalos arena like me the current challenge is a lot easier to deal with, just grab a shield and let your slightly irritating flash machine do its thing while you beat up the rathalos

That's what gives you a chance to get it. Doing so is pretty easy so that's not a problem, it's just that they're really argumentative about dropping.
