Hence why I went bow for just about anything, and only go back to any other melee when its something I'm perfectly confident in killing.
The bow just gives me way too much useability in every way.
Its not the tornados that it stops that's why
If you wanna do Xeno fast bring Ranged with Pierce and IGs also make sure to hit him with the pillars in the first phase if you hit them it skips straight to the second one
Barroth
Yeah, Barroth and/or Jyuratodus investigations are best for wyvern gems. Really easy hunts.
kadachi usually dropped one easy whenever I farmed his bows, but for some reason, when I tried to get one on purpose, it took way longer than expected
the game knows :spooky:
MonnerHunner needs a Pile Bunker weapon. Slow, blunt damage regular swings and charge-able piercing stabs with a reload mechanic. That'd be dope as hell. You could make it look almost like a SWAT-style battering ram.
might i interest you in the switch axe
I don't see how they're comparable at all besides the explosion.
Post your hunter bois

I would take more pics and videos if the game wouldn't crash so much while using them.
One weapon that I'm kind of sad will stay forever in its own game is the Magnet Spike, exclusive to Frontier Z Zenith. It switches between Blade and Impact mode, and by itself is way too heavy to actually wield in combat. Instead you fire magnet points from an included sidearm, and the Magnet Spike can rapidly attract or repel itself towards or away from those points, allowing you to quickly close long distances and attack simultaneously, or evade quickly. It looks so weird.

Kinda just looks like someone who doesn't know how to use a bow
I think, from looking at it and the description, it is just an absurdly giant bow that they swing like a club.
It's more an oversized bat'leth that morphs into a club. It doesn't fire anything on its own.

Yeah and for such a large weapon it's got ridiculous mobility

The monsters in Frontier ZZ are abominations. No fucking wonder we need to put them down. Jesus!
Oh, the mace mode also allows you to suplex your own weapon into the monster's head. I think this is the best weapon they've made.

22 seconds in if it doesn't start at the right time.
My only problem with it is that it doesn't seem to have any downsides. It's a mary sue weapon.
Yeah that weapon just seems like an upgrade on several base weapons without any noticeable downsides.
That's a big problem with Frontier iirc due to the MMO nature of it, theres constant powercreep, you can equip a million skills and that's why there's so many "laser-shooting rainbow-eyesore-colored hardcore destruction on steroids" versions of monsters to compensate
Capcom has always considered game balance to be a perk not a function of game design.
The only balanced titles they've released ever have been DD:DA and Resident evil 1-3
Are there any other weapon types World -doesn't- have?
Tonfa, Magnet Spike, Medium Bowgun.
And Prowler, which is exclusive to Generations / Generations Ultimate.
