If there is one thing I really like about the introduction of Kulve Taroth, it's the fact that getting weapons (like the REALLY GOOD drops for weapons I don't use) randomly has lead me to want to use weapons I never normally use.

Hopefully the announcement is something actually new. If they announce another AT i'll lose my absolute shit.

I will say if we get some Witcher armor with that crossover I don't think its ever coming off my hunter.

The PC delay is a bummer. Was hoping by the time PC got caught up to the consoles, everything would be square for both. As long as it's not as massive as it was from initial releases, I might have some self-control. Otherwise, a fair presentation. Kind of bummed there's no Alatreon or other new monster for the base game before Iceborne.

They did say the PC ones were being work on alongside the console ones so hopefully shouldn't be as late as it has been.

I wouldn't get my hopes up for that, but it certainly looks to be the G-Rank expansion going by the brief description of it. I just hope there is non-G-Rank content in the new areas too.

It says new quest rank, locales, monsters, moves, and equipment and also a new story continuing after World. They also said it's the size of "G" or "Ultimate" expansions from previous games.

Autumn 2019, really? Are they that dedicated to having slowest new content release schedule ever? Hopefully they release something new in the meantime aside from the Witcher collab, regardless i'm still really excited for it.

Yeah that's the only thing that I'm worried about, the waiting times for release on PC. Hopefully they aren't as bad as the game itself, I waited so damn long for MHW on the PC.

The delays for completed content on the PC version basically annihilated my interest

World is my first MH game so I don't know what the hell G/Ultimate expansions means.

Every game up until World has gotten a release with some variation of the name referencing a G or Ultimate. They add new areas, new monsters (and all the attendant equipment) and a new rank of quests beyond High Rank called G Rank. Iceborne is apparently the G/Ultimate version of World, just being released as a DLC instead of a full-blown re-release of the game. So basically expect new monsters, new variants, new equipment, and a set of quests and monsters probably as tough as AT (perhaps even Tougher). New weapon types are highly unlikely (and certainly unprecedented)

Basically ball park, the Wii Monster Hunter title, MHTri that was originally released just had Low rank and high rank with around about 35 monsters, the G-Rank release of the game adds another layer of content basically, above high rank, with even harder quests, more monsters, more equipment, new lands etc etc. And usually it comes with a significant amount of content comparatively to the base game, as an example, the Ultimate version of MHtri went from 35 monsters to 74.

What if the wait until Fall 2019 is to have the PC players not to wait. Crossing fingers the wait will be worth it for PC otherwise... OOF. A whole year to wait for content will suck so badly. Capcom with a budget is fantastic but damn do they don't seem to realize how starving we've become with the lack of content. Even DMC fans got kinda cucked. They had two trailers with the demon date, Dec 7th, but only the later trailer uploaded to YT had "2019" added. Capcom, why are you like this?
