I'm hoping the cell-shaded look will look as neat in motion as the already existing animated one does.
My baby, they added my baby

Cyborg Spiderman is basically cable.
i know spider-verse is in it for obvious tie-in reasons but that's just the classic suit but cartoony. the other suits look dope tho
Apparently the Raimi suit is in the game now, not tried myself yet but it was posted by Playstation's europe facebook page(official) if anyone cared lol

After all the shit they got over one bloody suit, they went and added it. Insomniac are pretty cool
Such a talented cool studio. I almost feel bad just wishing for a new Ratchet and Clank game from them constantly. If it's as lovingly crafted as Spiderman it'll be fantastic.
I just got this game for Christmas and it's a blast so far. Gotta say, it feels like theres no reason to use any ability other than Web Blossom, combine with the ability that makes you gain focus after webn attacks, it's just ludicrously powerful.
I started playing Silver Lining. Holy fuck do Magia goons love to use Sable rocket launchers.
I've just been getting back into this game after a long hiatus and - how do you access all these new suits? (I bought all the DLC if that matters?)
finish the first mission to unlock a suit, finish main story(dlc story) and then finish all side activities same for each dlc
Are the DLCs worth it?
I think so. They're all story DLC that take place after the main game so you should wait until you finish it to get it (unless it's currently on sale, may as well get it a bit cheaper).
Full price nah, on sale I would say yeah. I've completed all of them, and the story is not that interesting and very short. They are worth it mostly as an excuse to swing around new york again for a bit.
Just bought the game because it's on sale on the PS Store, it's really good although I'm terrible at this combat system. Hoping to get to grips with it soon, because this is really my first modern brawler fighter that isn't just about countering(Sleeping Dogs, Assassins Creed). Moving around the city is so satisfying, I could websling for hours.
I was also crap at the combat system for most of the game. Don't worry, it's very forgiving. And if you want to improve, wait until Taskmaster shows up and practice his challenges. Golding most of those is how my combat and traversal skills rose from god-awful to merely incompetent.
I'm not a big fan of the DLC solely for the fact that it seems to have taken the most annoying elements of the main game and put them back full force, like Screwball's stealth sections and SableTech enemies. The story is okay but don't expect huge things like in the main game.
I take alot of pride in disposing of Sable enemies. Fuck the PMC Pigs.
I'm at the end of the game. Can I continue playing as normal once I finish the story?
Yes you can. You can access any DLC from the touchpad menu and you also unlock new game plus.
I beat the game, it got rather depressing in the last act, watching Aunt May die, and Otto wreath in pain. Also, that fucking Green Goblin scene, what the fuck.
Getting through the story now, at 68%. why is MJ such a biiitch, yeah she's cute and stuff but she has such an attitude jfc. "Hey pls don't do shit that will most likely end up with you dead" "fuck u peter I'm a woMAN I can do what i want". Legitimately the most frustrating portion of the game so far
I mean, she's been shown to be quite capable. Peter and MJ have good points to both of their flaws.
She does get very annoying, and then it's all completely resolved in one phonecall. After that she's fine, but while it's happening it's annoying as all hell.
It's mainly just one section in which she becomes completely unreasonable, and then completely turns it around by the end. It just happens to be really bad around the 50% mark of the game
Yeah I see that now, it adds nothing to the story and is just detrimental to the character development so it baffles my mind why they would add this to the game just for the sake of some relationship drama.
How long is The City That Never Sleeps in total?
Ok, started playing through the Heist... and it feels like they made Black Cat WAY too strong in comparison to Pete.
