I think it's insanely stupid to call something other people are having fun cringeworthy just because I don't like it. Like borderline you're a asshole if you'd rather stifle creativity other than support it.
Like yeah, there's plenty of porn/fetish/whatever art but I've seen a great deal of genuinely innocent designs from people just having fun designing Mario Princesses modeled after enemies or making goofy joke posts. There's literally nothing wrong with it.
The only part that I could call obnoxious about it is the massive number of people who want to post it everywhere and go "haha how funny haha". Like yeah, we get it, you want to jerk off to it, you don't need to shove it everywhere just because.
I just beat the secret new boss in Undertale that's exclusive to the switch version- It's really fun, the new song is great, and it was pretty humorous. I'm sad it's just this fight that was added, but with rumors that a new Toby Fox game was being announced soon, I'm really excited to see what he does next
I'll admit that there's a lot of content getting churned out every minute but not everyone is looking at this with boners. Some of the comics and drawings getting made are funny and tame.

But I'm all about seeing the creativity people pull off because some of them are also silently kinda saturated of the same design so they do it themselves.
I've seen so many good and creative variants along with finding new artists to follow.
I'm used to flavour of the month burning out hard and never getting more than the odd piece of new fanart from people who care long-term, but I'm curious to see if this one sticks around. It's obviously going to crash and burn in a week or two, but it seems like the type of thing that might stick around for a while in a smaller capacity.

The fun thing is that most of the fan made -ette designs starring other Mario characters are actually better than the official Peachette

All of this makes me wish the actual Peachette had Toadette features like the pink hair or the clothes as opposed to just being "Peach but with pigtails"
