Meh, the only big announcement I cared about was Luigi's Mansion 3, though I'm also excited with the new Yoshi info. And for the love of god people, don't buy the goddamn online service. It's bad enough that you have to pay for online, but having that plus shitty P2P connections and NES games no one cares about and cloud saves that should be included no matter if you pay or not are things you should not reward Nintendo for.

that was a pretty bland direct all things considered. luigi's mansion, which they showed very little for, animal crossing 2019, which they showed nothing for, and isabelle for smash were the most interesting stuff there in a pool of absolute mediocrity. the online stuff looks to be just as much of a joke as we all expected it to be. a ton of games they showed have MASSIVE fps issues like city skylines and one of those final fantasy games...

I'm glad the music in FF 8 is fucking good at least, and the end game is stupid easy if you do the Triple Triad game.

Definitely disappointed with the online, both in the limited utility of the service as a whole, and the seeming plan to stick to NES games. Definitely excited for the announcements, though!
