Yeah what we really need to talk about is if the Sword is the exact same size to the inch. If not Cloud isn't faithful representation and needs to be removed.

You know I never noticed until recently how fucking weird it was that Cloud has this weird bolt-themed armband and screws just sticking out of his shoulderpad.

His gimmick would be that the first time you hit him hard enough to guaranteed KO him, his armor breaks and he continues on in his underwear instead Without his armor he takes 1.25x damage/knockback, and the next lethal blow will work as expected, after which he respawns with his armor again

I just mainly want him because he has a shitload of really interesting weapons and projectiles, plus some cool looking armors for alt costumes.

Oh I know, I just think that with the armor system, they could make him as unique and interesting to play AGAINST as he would be to play

You know seeing Arthur reminded me of my team in MvC and it dawned on me that i realized theres a character for smash that I'd really like to be in. Viewtiful Joe I'm baffled on how I never thought of it before, I think he would be a perfect fit.

Kiryu Kazuma is the one character I want the most, but he seems so unlikely that I've resigned to the fact that it'll never happen. I don't feel disappointment in other characters' inclusions but I also don't feel as hyped for anyone either; I would be just as happy if the game released with no more newcomers as I would if everyone but Kiryu was added. I can't think of anyone else I'd really want more - the roster is already great as it is. I'm looking forward to more announcements, but I'm just waiting for release day now.

Sounds weak in casual play where reads are less essential for KOs.

I’m curious what MC would have as a moveset, considering he’s usually depicted running and gunning, FPS style.

His close ranged stuff would probably be energy sword, gravity hammer, and M90. He would most likely have a grenade special like Snake, instead throwing a sticky grenade. I'm not too sure what his final smash would be though, maybe calling in a Pelican?

INB4 Master Chief is a Snake echo fighter in a DLC pack.

I was thinking about just sticking with the joycons for the next smash. The GC controller has a very comfortable grip, but I can't stand the C-stick or the triggers.

I got the adapter because my GC controllers still work fine. And even then I have a pro controller.

Pro controller is pretty damn good. I honestly sometimes think about dropping the GC controller for it in Smash. I probably won't though knowing me.

Does anyone know how the build quality is for the new gamecube controllers they do for smash? If they are close to original build quality I might pick up one just to have a new gamecube controller.

I know this a joke, but if I'm gonna be completely honest, When they make DLC fighters for this game, if there are Echoes, they better make them free, via la update like Spaltoon Because no one is going to pay for essentially a clone?

idk I'd pay for an echo if they're good enough then again i wasted $40 on all the smash 4 DLC

We got 23 new characters in total for Smash 4 (including DLC) Would be certainly disappointed if all we got were 7 completely new fighters (excluding Echo fighters) since the Smash box thing with the 72 characters. And then Nintendo selling even more as DLC.

wouldn't a better solution be just to properly balance them? they gotta justify continuing to make stuff after release or Nintendo won't keep funding them. It's gotta be paid for. It just doesn't have to be broken as shit lol.
