I do want Inceneroar if we get a startermon from the previous generation. Not because of leaks or anything but because I love heel-cat. That and I'm kind of sick of the owl. I feel like his fans are the loudest and most obnoxious of the three and he's already in Pokken. Only thing I can see getting in Inceneroar's way is that I'm trying to imagine him in Ultimates art style and for some reason I just can't. Like not even the head icon on the CSS is working for me.

I am leaning on no new Pokemon rep actually. He is already giving us back Pichu, Ivysaur and Squirtle. And then there is timing. Work on Ultimate started right after the Wii U version released. Sun and Moon wouldn't be coming out for another two years and the Ruby and Sapphire remakes would be coming out a year later. And the next real Pokemon games aren't coming out for another year. I don't believe Sun and Moon were far in development while Sakurai was decided the fighters. However. The remakes were close to being released when Sakurai was deciding to Fighters. So I am thinking three things. Either no new Pokemon rep at all. The rep will be a gen 3 Pokemon. Or the Pokemon rep will be DLC closer to the release of Pokemon switch.

I legit had a dream that I was reading a article on some website that this was the first smash without a new pokemon rep and how that was a big deal for whatever reason and it kinda made me feel the same way honestly. Like if there's not a lot left and they're going to slow down I can't imagine that they're saving a rando pokemon as one of the final reveals. I get that Smash 4 ended with Bowser Jr and Duck Hunt but I just can't see them making a pokemon the final surprise.
