i think kid goku would fit perfectly in smash, both aesthetically and in gameplay. he could do not only hand to hand combat, but also use his cloud, his extending staff, etc. plus some people would go berserk and that's always funny to see

I feel that the best not a video game character for smash is Popeye, since he actually has a history with Nintendo.

For what it's worth, Goku's had over fifty appearances on Nintendo consoles since the Famicom days.

I always imagined that if Smash ever got insane guest fighters like Soul Calibur, I would want Goku and Darth Vader. One pop culture icon from the East, and one from the West.

I wouldn't mind kid Goku , he could use the Power Pole for some of his moves, maybe use the Flying Nimbus as an Up Special, and his final Smash could be him turning into a monkey. I would of gone with a Kamehameha but since Ultimate got rid of controllable FS for cinematic ones I think it would fit better.
That and I just like the idea of Goku being in but as a subversion of everyones expectations of adult Goku (and possibly Super Sayian)
